"Nice, big clean room and en suite. Staff downstairs in the pub were friendly, helpful and efficient. Warm welcome as non members at the Tuesday night jazz club - great band on our night. However, globe not screwed in properly in bedside light. Fridge door panel fell off. Fixed both these problems. Couldn't fix the lack of spoons so didn't tackle the complementary cereal. Its a fun place - we will stay again."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel decor was nice. The room was in need of some maintenance and there was a noticeable lack of soundproofing. I could hear water running through the pipes and thumping from people walking around. Overall the stay was good but not great, as you’d expect from a 5 star hotel."

"The room was quite small the position of the toilet was awkward and it definitely wouldn’t suit large people, there was very little storage and one long shelf was too high to be used,there was no room for a seat or even a small table/desk ,we both would have preferred normal coffee rather than the pod machine, the coffee was too strong and bitter, the choice of tea bags was very poor,not everyone wants that type of tea, there was not much sugar to be had, no instructions for the coffee machine...

"Reception only opens from 9 am to 5 pm. No flexibility to work around that as staff was asking us to send picture of the credit card even the bond had already been taken. Not recommended for visitor who has work commitment and therefore can’t go to the reception to register within 9 am to 5 pm. Further the room was not cleaned even once during my 9 nights staying there."
