Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay, loved the layout of the house, the views, and the wildlife we saw. Dolly was very helpful with the information she provided and suggested places to visit during out stay, including Lake Laura, the Shenandoah Caverns, and places to eat out. Great place to spend quality time with the family.

Nice place to stay

We had the best time good place for kids of all ages. Games and movies and it is right on the slopes i would definitely stay here again. Very nice host as well

Spring Break Fun!

We stumbled upon this property after searching for somewhere fun to go for a couple of days during our kids spring break. This property didn’t disappoint! The game room and hot tub were a huge hit. Also, we ventured into WV for a day trip and then came back for a yummy dinner and the kids played pool at the Burn Barrel. The fact that all linens were included, plus we were able to bring our dogs were a major plus!!

Family Getaway

Love the home! It’s spacious, inviting and warm. The kitchen has everything you need, while all the amenities are perfect for adults of all ages. The host is super friendly and responsive. I would certainly return with family and friends to this home

Perfect Stay

Our family absolutely loved our stay at ‘Adventure Awaits.’ Dolly was so accommodating and kind to us which made our trip even more enjoyable. We loved the virtual guidebook that was provided, and we especially appreciated the local recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Two of the highlights of our trip were golfing at the resort and visiting Lake Laura - two perks that would make us come back! We highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking to visit the area, and hope to be back soon!

Great location and lovely home! Easy to get in and out and access right to the slopes with all-access passes was a huge plus! I was so grateful I could spend Christmas and New Year’s with my whole family with plenty of room to spread out and still be together. Thanks for making everything easy during our stay!

Great Mountain House!

We had wonderful communication from the minute we booked! The owners were incredibly informative leading up to the trip and responded quickly (before and during our stay) too. We loved this house! The kitchen level is where we spent most of our time thanks to the welcoming, open and comfortable floor plan. The kids loved the lower level whether it was in the bunk room or game room! The ski in/ski out option was very convenient and made for a truly special experience! We will definitely book there again!

Adventure in Bayse!

We had a great stay here! The house was clean, well-stocked, and spacious for a group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The hot tub was a hit and the kids adored the ‘arcade basement.’ The included passes to nearby Bryce Resort were perfect for golf (plus other resort activities!) which really sweetened the overall value of our stay. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect ski vacation

Adventure Awaits was the perfect ski vacation over Christmas break! Plenty of room for the family to spread out, huge kitchen, and awesome ski in ski out location. Dolly could not have been more helpful and attentive!

Perfect in every way!

We had the most amazing get away with our family at this chalet! Such a unique and special house that is even better than the pictures. Our crew used and appreciated every amenity including: the sauna, hot tub, skiing right onto and off the mountain and the ski passes. We cooked in each night and had all the tools needed. Dolly was an incredible host, it is obvious how much she cares about her guests having the best experience possible. We will be back!

Everything about the stay was excellent! Dolly was an exceptional host and the place and location are amazing. Just as advertised. The home worked out great for our group of 12. As a Veteran, I love that the place is Veteran owned and supporting fellow Veterans is an added bonus. Thank you Dolly for allowing us to stay! Your attention to detail and the work you have put into the place is very much appreciated.

Had a great time!

We had a great time at this house even though the ski resort was closed. Next year we’ll book earlier in the season to ensure snow. The kids loved the basement games!
