"This was a lovely place to stay, you can’t walk to town but the rooms are well appointed, breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were efficient and friendly. My only negative is the check in is 5.30pm which is late and not in line with many other establishments. 4pm would have suited us better. Overall very good enjoyable stay "
"Very nice welcome and hosts were very helpful. Luxurious room and bathroom. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts with great choice for made to order breakfast. The property sits in large and well laid out grounds. Dinner was also available. Would thoroughly recommend you stay here."

"The Royal Oak has a wonderful location in a quiet village setting and visitors can expect a relaxing change of pace. The countryside around is spectacular for England and the people are without exception friendly and helpful.
