"The property is in desperate need of an update and a thorough clean. To be honest I was shocked when we walked in based on the previous reviews that I had read. Our cabin had a terrible smell. We sprayed it down with air freshener several times. The unit overall wasn’t really clean. The bed mattress looked like it had seen better days. To be honest we couldn’t wait to get out of there. "It’s a small, simple place to stay. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of some other places but everything you need for a night or 2. 10 mins from Mansfield, warm and comfortable. Would love more comfortable cozy seating for the cold wet evenings inside."

"It was close to everything, next to the river, around the corner from the pub, cafe, and general store. It was a beautiful time of the year with the autumn colours. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We loved our stay and would recommend it. "
