My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights while we were in town for a wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! I had never been to Mount Airy before, so I was really excited to find this place—it looked so nice online and seemed close to everything. The location couldn’t have been better! We were just a few blocks away from all the restaurants, shops, and main spots in town, so we were able to walk everywhere.The space itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated—perfect for two people. The kitchen had everything we could’ve needed if we wanted to cook, but we mostly went out to dinner. We had such a fun weekend and really appreciated how smooth and easy the whole stay was. The host was great at making sure everything went perfectly. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Mount Airy!

Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Communication with host was easy. Sorry we had to leave early for a family emergency. Our stay was exactly as described by many others….making enjoyable the end to our family trip to Mt. Airy..Fancy Gap..and the Marbry Mill area of the Blue Ridge Parkway… also close to enable a nice hike on Pilot Mountain.

Apartment is located right downtown and easy walk to main street. We had one issue but it was not the owners fault, the city decided to eeplace electric poles as soon as we arrived But power was restored by midnight and everything else went well.

Doug and his wife are great hosts. Communication before and during my visit was wonderful. If there were any concerns on my part, all I had to do was send a message. The location was perfect for a short walk across the road to downtown Mt. Airy. The apartment was super cute, welcoming, and felt like home. I highly recommend staying here and definitely will again.

We had a wonderful couple of days in Mt. Airy! Mayberry & Main is one of our favorite places to stay! Fantastic location & fabulous hosts. We highly recommend breakfast at Leon's Burger Express. Dinner at Mi Casa on Main. Food at Angry Troll is delicious too! Especially the cheese steak pizza. Be sure to ask price of the beers on the board. I didn't ask & it was 17 for 2. They were good, but not quite that good.

Our stay was Fabolous!!! We mistakenly checked into the downstairs property. The host was very understanding despite our mistake. The property is well maintained and cozy. My kids loved the stagger alone bathtub and the Murphy bed. This is a great quiet place to stay if you're visiting the area. It's central to everything in Mt. Airy. I would highly recommend this property.
