The Mayberry Suite

Very convenient to downtown. Roomy, comfortable and clean. Quiet off-street location with ample parking. An excellent place to stay in Mount Airy.

Awesome place to stay! Easy walk to Main Street and to the museums and main attractions. Parked the car and walked all weekend to eat and adventure. Will definitely book again on our next trip!

Anniversary Getaway!!

Really nice first floor apartment in downtown Mt. Airy!! Perfect for couple or small family! The apartment had everything we needed and adequate parking right outside of the front door. The apartment was right off main street close to shopping and good places to eat. Perfect spot to get the best "Mayberry" experience!

We had a lovely stay in “Mayberry”. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and we are particular. The beds were clean, plush, and comfortable. Linens were all fresh. Very thoughtfully supplied. Downtown is just right around the corner. We will definitely stay again.

Best place to stay in Mayberry

We love this place! We are repeat travelers to Mayberry. This is our go to place if/when we are traveling this way. It's just off Main Street where we shop and dine. We absolutely love staying at Mayberry and Main! Doug and Carol are the BEST hosts. We will return and stay at our adopted home away from home. God bless you all.

Wonderful place!

This little apartment did not disappoint. We were pleased to find the place very clean, beds were comfortable, the unique decor is great, and everything was just as listed. Location is super convenient to everything. We walked almost everywhere. The owners were clear in communicating the check in process so we had no issues at all. We look forward to staying again in the future. :)

Cute and Convenient!

My Fella and I stayed for a few nights just to get away and relax. This rental is so very cute with interesting, colorful decor and turquoise cabinets! And it is just a few blocks from most of the town. We walked almost everywhere during our visit and it was great! Clean, quiet, and so enjoyable!

Very clean, great location!

The first thing I do when I stay at a vacation rental is wipe down every surface with disinfectant wipes (I know, I’m crazy). Most of the time, the wipes are dirty. But not here! Every surface was clean! The bathroom was also very clean, which is so important to me. The apartment is not a hodge podge, it’s carefully curated down to the art and well thought out furniture pieces. The Murphy bed was brilliant! Speaking of beds, they were SO comfy. Another rarity for a vacation rental. Thank you Doug and Carol for the wonderful stay! We hope to visit again soon.

Family weekend

My husband, daughter and I came up for my grandbaby’s dedication and decided to be a Mt. Airy ( Mayberry) tourist. This was perfect size and location for us. Owners were wonderful in responding to any questions we had. Enjoyed it!

Great stay and walk to everything in Mayberry

Place was perfect! Cozy, great decor, bed was comfy, easy check in and check out. Walked to Main Street to visit shops, sites, restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here for a visit to Mayberry! We love traveling and prefer VRBO stays. So don’t double guess this place! GO! (Oh…and the towels were thick and smelled wonderful! 😊)

Great Place to Stay

My parents and niece had another great stay at the Mayberry Suite. Staying here is starting to become an annual event for my parents and they look forward to returning to this property every year. The unit is within walking distance to all the great downtown shops and restaurants in Mt. Airy. They love the outdoor patio area for coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings. Easy check in and check out process and Doug (the owner) and his family are really great. The Mayberry Suite has everything you need. Hope to be back soon.

Perfect location

If your going to stay in Mt. Airy this is the perfect location. We walked to everything. Craft beers, Old North State, restaurants, shopping, and amphitheater. Suite has everything you need, very cozy and up to date. We had a great time!

Great downtown apartment!

Perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Loved the separate bedroom but if had the kids with us the Murphy bed in the living room would have been perfect option for them.
