Lovely place for family holiday

Our extended family had a lovely relaxing holiday here, enjoying the pool and spacious house. Nice quiet location with a pleasant view of trees. Easy walk to the beach, river, headland and local cafe

Extended weekend with family and grandkids to celebrate 60th birthday for poppy. House was excellent for family, plenty of room, enjoyed the games room, close enough to walk to the beach, everyone enjoyed their stay. I would recommend this house for a holiday

Birthday Weekend Away

We spent 3 nights at the house with 5 couples. The house is set up perfectly and meant that we weren't all living on top of each other. Easy walk down to the boat ramp where we brought our morning coffees. The pin ball machine provided great entrainment.

Could only use half the house & zero linen

2000 for 2 nights with zero linen ( in the small print) 1queen bedroom and games room was under the house that smelt damp and mouldy so no one could use it. So we could only use half the house. TV in main bedroom had no remote.not good for insomniac

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was spotlessly clean. Very large house. The views were beautiful. Close to the cafe and beach. Great for families. Pool great. Fenced yard however no direct access to the house from the yard - so with little children this may be a issue as you need to go out the front door down the stairs through the pool area and then out the back. However older children and adults are fine.

Ideal location

Property was somewhat clean upon arrival - certain areas such as the bathrooms had previous hair present including blanket throws from previous tenants that were on the lounge/inside the wardrobes. Some other areas around the property were dusty. The bedding is outdated and should be updated to brighten up the bedrooms as they feel dark. Linen should at least be included and not extra on top as packing linen is the last thing you want to add into your car trip. Spacious for a large family and ideal location. Property manager Kate was easy and lovely to deal with.

Handy Cafe within walking distance. Only thought that comes to mind to improve this experience would be to be allowed use of the hot spa associated to the pool.

The only not so good thing I have, Is that at night the aircon shuts off and cannot be turned back on, we travelled in March and were very hot during the night so travelling DEC-FEB i assume would be worse.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice large house very close to the beach and the views are great. We really enjoyed our stay. On the downside the mattresses seemed to be very old and uncomfortable and in need of replacement and certain parts of the home could do with a good scrub with sugar soap or a coat of paint aswell as some of the kitchen items need replacement as old, well used and not really clean, other then these few negatives a nice house

Family Getaway

Great place for a family holiday. Huge spaces and set up well. Close to the beach and all that broulee/ tomakin and Mogo has to offer. Booking and checking process was very easy. No internet and bringing own linen only negatives for that price point.
