Aurelie et Jo sont des hôtes super accueillants , super réactifs à chacune de mes questions.Nous étions toute une famille de 10 personnes dont un bébé, ils ont tous été super enchantés et émerveillés par les lieux, les équipements très complets et surtout le bain nordiques suivis d’un petit trempage dans la piscine à 17.Une très belle adresse à retenir !

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, unkomplizierter schneller Kontakt! Sehr hilfsbereit. Obwohl auf demselben Grundstück wohnend, keinerlei Störungen. Im Gegenteil: Bei Problemen sofortige Hilfe vorhanden.Das Haus liegt sehr schön oberhalb des Ortes. Alles funktioniert und ist sauber. Ausreichen Platz für Fahrzeuge (wir kamen mit 4 PKW plus Anhänger mit Motorrad). Ideale Ausgangslage für Motorradtouren. Auch für Familien Top, da Pool gesichert, diverse Spiele vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.Danke an Aurélie und Jo

Séjour à tous points parfait

Nous avons passé un séjour plus qu'agréable, le gîte était conforme à nos attentes et aussi bien Aurélie que Jo ont tout fait pour que nous nous entions comme chez nous, ce qui fût le cas. Nous ne pouvons dès lors que recommander la Villa Casa Del Gat pour découvrir cette magnifique région.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem atemberaubenden Anwesen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in den französischen Pyrenäen in vollen Zügen genossen. Aurelie und Jo sind zauberhafte Gastgeber, sehr liebe und positive Menschen, die uns und unseren Vierbeiner Hardy herzlich empfangen haben. Das Haus und der Garten sind ein absoluter Traum, alles ist wunderschön und himmlisch ruhig. Das Haus eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für wunderschöne Wanderungen, die allesamt innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu erreichen sind.Wir kommen sehr gerne bald wieder!Vielen Dank für alles.

Un bel endroit pour découvrir les pyrénées catalans

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Aurélie et jo. Tout d'abord, nous avons été très bien accueillis puis nos hotes ont été aux petits soins pour nous. L'endroit est très au calme avec une superbe piscine et un bain nordique que nous avons découvert et testé deux fois avec plaisir. La maison est confortable (nous étions deux toutefois pour potentiellement 12 personnes). Jo a été très réactif dès que nous l'avons sollicité pour un sujet ou un autre. La région est agréable même si le beau temps n'a pas toujours été au rendez vous mais la région a besoin de pluie aussi. Bref, nous avons été satisfait de notre séjour et du lieu d'accueil.

Spacious house, relaxing stay

We were in this part of the Pyrenees for the first time, and Aurelie and Jo made it very easy for us to find the most amazing Via Ferrata experience, pick the perfect beach, select the right restaurants, etc. The house offers everything one might need for a relaxing stay in the mountains, yet maintains the character of a gite. Strongly recommended.

Tolles Haus, schöner garten, super Pool und schöne Umgebung

Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen im Juli im Casa del Gat. Aurélie und Jo sind sehr nette und hilfreiche Vermieter. Wenn man Hilfe oder Rat benötigt, sind sie zur Stelle. Sie wohnen auf dem Nachbargrundstück und sind sehr zurückhaltend. Das Haus ist geräumig. Es gibt eine Sonnenterrasse und eine Schattenterrasse. Mit Pool, Rutsche, Schaukel, Petanquebahn, Slackline und viel Grünfläche kann man sich gut um das Haus herum beschäftigen oder ein ruhiges Plätzchen finden. Wir (Großeltern, Kinder, Enkelkinder) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Wandern ist vom Haus aus möglich. Man kann aber auch schöne Höhenwanderungen auf kurzen Wegen mit dem Auto erreichen. Jo hatte gute Tips für uns. Mit dem SuperU und Lidl hat man gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Prades. In Mosset gibt es einen kleinen Dorfladen. Von kleinen bis großen Gästen haben sich alle wohl gefühlt und viel Spaß gehabt. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Quartier für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

A lovely villa in a beautiful location

We've just returned from a week-long stay and had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Jo and Aurelie met us on arrival and gave us a good tour of the property, answering questions along the way. They kept in touch regularly over whatsapp as needed, and Jo attended to cleaning the pool and hot tub almost daily. The villa is beautiful and everything has been thought of. The pool and hot tub were our favourite! We brought our dog so it was reassuring that the property was fully fenced and dog bowls and towels were provided. The villa is very private too, and there are lots of beautiful plants and trees making it possible to both sunbathe and take shade when wanted. Its worth mentioning that the villa is in the mountains so, although most of the drive there is on regular roads, it takes a short ~15mins mountain drive (some narrow and winding roads) to reach the villa. There were quite a number of different insects (flies, wasps, beetles, crickets etc) so although it didnt generally disrupt us, its worth being aware of that as we had to make sure to keep the doors and windows closed to stop insects getting into the villa. There are a couple of small villages nearby and Prada is the main town (with shopping facilities) at the bottom of the mountain. We did a least a couple of visits to the supermarket to keep the fridge well stocked as its difficult to find things within walking distance of the villa. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend!

très bon 1er séjour dans les Pyrénées Orientales

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine autour du 1er de l'an dans ce coin magnifique et cette maison très comfortable avec super bain nordique et piscine pour se rafraichir. Très bon acceuil, hotes très sympas. Le cadre est superbe. Nous avons fait des balades dans les environs, très peu fréquentés à cette période, avons même pris un bain à une cascade dans la rivière (certainement beaucoup plus fréquentée en été). Thermes malheureusement fermées, mais le bain nordique a bien compensé.

Fantastic

Everything was as it said in the description. Tge house was gorgeous. The kitchen was perfectly well equipped. Bedrooms airy and had the added benefit of insect screen that can be slotted in if required. The pool was heated and stunning. The garden has so much seating area, we were spoilt for choice. The pool is secure with a fencing and also the garden as it says in the description is completely fenced in. Even my little dog found it impossible to get out. There is an absolutely beautiful beach which allows dogs any time, it is Plage Paulilles, not far from Coulioure, so just over a hour away. There is a fabulous new restaurant just down from the villa, food is amazing. The property owners were so helpful they made sure we had the mist out if our stay. The villa has its own entrance so very private

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est bien équipée et fonctionnelle que ce soit en vaisselle, en jeux extérieurs ou intérieurs, beaucoup de livres pour tous âges et doté d’une salle de jeux qui a fait le bonheur de nos petits enfants. Quand le temps n’est pas au rendez-vous on profite quand même d’une superbe vue sur le jardin et la montagne depuis la salle à manger. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Si je dois émettre des suggestions je dirais que le grille pain est petit et qu’il est dommage de ne pas avoir de local pour ramasser les vélos, Je recommande cette location

Un très bel endroit des propriétaires à l'écoute un tas de choses à faire dans la région , de belles randonnées pour les marcheurs , une piscine au top et plein de petites intentions qui font plaisir . Un seul petit très petit bémol le grille pain en fin de vie un peu petit quand on est 10 .

Lovely 10 days

We had a wonderful time at La Casa del Gat. It's in a magnificent location in the mountains near Mosset with great walks and cycling trails. It's also pretty easy to get to the Mediterranean for the beaches. The villa itself is clean, spacious and well equipped - ideal for our party of nine. The pool is a nice size and the hot tub was an absolute bonus on the days the weather was mixed. Jo and Aurelie were excellent hosts - they live next door and are very responsive and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Compleet en comfortabel huis op een unieke locatie

We verbleven er 14 dagen waarvan 10 met onze kinderen,hun partners en twee kleinkinderen. Het huis was uitermate geschikt voor ons. Het is voorzien van alle comfort, voldoende slaapkamers en badkamers, zelfs een aparte speelkamer. Het goed verwarmde zwembad is omheind en dus veilig voor kinderen. Ook het grote domein met een speeltuin, volleybalveld en petanquebaan is volledig omheind. Het is is proper en wordt perfect onderhouden door de eigenaars Aurélie en Jo. Relaxing family break

We have just returned from a beautiful holiday at casa del gat. We were a family of 4 adults, 2 older teenagers and a dog, there was so much space for us all and plenty of amenities inside the house to accomadate a much bigger group than we were, the house was clean and tidy, and despite the hot weather was really cool in the evnings for sleeping. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we spent so much of our time relaxing and simply looking out into the distance at the surrounding area. The gardens of the property are equally lovely, with lots of different areas providing sunny and shady pockets, ideal for us to be able to enjoy the garden at all times of the day. The pool is large and warm with the temperature not going below 32 degrees, Joe made sure the pool was clean and hoovered and we never had a problem. Joe and Aurielle were lovely hosts and straight away made us feel extremely welcome, we had on arrival a lovely basket of fresh vegetables from their garden and some lovely homemade jam which was delicious, Joe was always on hand to give us advice on where to go and of course kept us topped up with the most incredible tomatoes and courgettes, thank you Joe they were simply the best. We also took our dog and she had a wonderful time exploring the completely secure garden and watching the gekcos in the evening. Overall the area was lovely, and we would look at returning again. I would highly recommend this property and indeed the hosts we had an incredible holiday. Thank you so much , The Garmans x
