The house itself is truly beautiful and in a great location. The layout and overall feel of the property made it a lovely place to stay, and the manager/owner were very responsive and polite when contacted.That said, we did end up having to reach out quite a bit during our stay for things that were advertised as already being in working order. We had to ask for the pool heater to be turned on, the power went out several times due to forecasted weather and the generator ran out of gas, and one of the showers was not functional. While these issues were usually addressed quickly, it did take away from the sense of being able to fully relax on vacation.We also noticed that many of the amenities were quite worn. Several pool floats had holes, toys were broken, balls were not inflated, and the advertised blue beach chairs were all broken. We were able to make do, but it required sorting through items to find usable ones.Overall, the home has a lot of potential and is very nice, but it would benefit from better maintenance and ensuring that listed amenities are in good working condition prior to guest arrival.

Villa Oceania was the perfect getaway for my family. The property is minutes from the airport but we never heard, or saw, a plane over our 5 days. The Villa is central to the island easy access to sites. The house was spacious, very clean, and well stocked. The back was heavenly with many places to relax by the pool, or take a kayak or paddle board. They even had wave boards and beach toys.Each time we came back to the property it took our breath away. We didn't want to leaveHighly recommended!!

This property had just about everything. We enjoyed the living area, the well stocked kitchen, and the dual washer/dryer. The pool was great and received shade in the afternoon, nice after a Long Beach day. The location was great.

Dream house

Our family of 5 stayed over the last 6 days at this beautiful home. The description is on point as this home has everything needed for a beach vacation. The house is fully stocked including all beach accessories that you may need. The owners are easily reached for any questions you may have. I highly recommend this home if you are looking to vacation in beautiful Exuma.

Unforgettable Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Oceania! The house is fantastic! We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and in the pool, walking right down to the beautiful beach and relaxing in the house. The home is well stocked, clean and comfortable for a large group. Lynda and her team made sure we had everything we needed. The home is located on a quiet beach, close to the airport and an easy drive to town for shopping and experiences. We enjoyed Tims on the Bay, the Friday Fish Fry, the water taxi to Chat and Chill on Stocking Island, and Coco Plum beach by Peninsula Beach Bar when we ventured out. Exuma is a great place to take a vacation and Villa Oceania is the best place to stay!

The house was absolutely beautiful and on point. completely stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. the property manager was on point every time we tried to call her. she checked in with us every morning to make sure we were happy. The owners checked in with us multiple times also to make sure that we were happy. We will definitely come back to stay at this house again if they will have us. The outdoor.Living area was absolutely beautiful and we took full advantage of it.

A slice of paradise

Villa Oceania is in a great location, gorgeous beach, well appointed, comfortable, and clean. Lynda, the property manager, was a great communicator, kind and helpful. We had a large group of 11 extended family member ranging in age from 11 to 76. We were all very happy with the accommodations and Exuma overall. Couldn’t recommend both more highly

Fantastic home!

Our family spent a week at the house and celebrated a birthday during our time. The hosts went above and beyond to make the visit special. The house manager Ms. Lynda is very responsive and was fantastic with putting together our itinerary for the trip. The owners took extraordinary measures to get my son a skim board that we were unable to bring with us. We loved the view of the beach and spending time in the pool. We experienced amazing hospitality. Highly recommended!

Fabulous property!

Our multi-generational family of 7 stayed at this property for Spring Break, and each of us loved it! The location is great, just minutes from the airport, and a central location for exploring both sides of the island. It's also right next to the Exuma sign, which makes for a great landmark. Despite the central location and the public parking nearby, the house felt very private, and we rarely saw another person on the beach (which is gorgeous!). Tim's on the Bay is a short walk away for food and drinks, if you desire (but beware the drinks are quite strong!).With 5 bedrooms, each of our children was able to have their own room, which they appreciated! 3 bathrooms means some have to share, including one bedroom that does not have direct access to a bathroom.The house is very well-stocked with everything you need, including multiple kayaks and so much outdoor seating, we never even had the opportunity to enjoy all of the different lounge spots! The espresso maker, ice maker, and water dispenser were welcomed amenities. The beds are very comfortable and the house is quiet and comfortable.All in all, we loved our stay at Villa Oceania and would not hesitate to return again!

Absolutely Fantastic

This was our first trip to Exuma that we went with the VBRO path, so we were a little anxious but this house is everything described and more. Location: It is very close to the airport which worked out perfectly for our trip and added no extra noise at all. We had friends and adult kids arriving and leaving at different times so this was great so we didn’t spend our days crossing the island to the airport. It is also very easy to get into town for groceries and equal distance from either marina that was a starting point for excursions. Amenities: The owners truly thought of everything you would need to make your vacation complete! Very clean and so many little details. The pool-walking out to the beach, it was everything we wanted from our stay! Communication: Lynda the local house manager was great and very responsive. The owners even checked in and sent over a special surprise to help us celebrate the trip! We would absolutely rent this home again and our friends who came would consider bringing their own families here in the future. The perfect reviews of this home are spot on. Thank you again!

Fantastic!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Exuma. The property has everything you can possibly think of for a large group: a well appointed kitchen with excellent coffee, games, books and puzzles, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, two washer/dryers, yoga mats, pool/beach toys, and the list goes on. Lynda the concierge was very helpful. The location is ideal as it is right in the center of the island and the beach is great for swimming and walking. The water and sand bars are just spectacular. Exuma is best explored by the water and we took advantage of that through boat rental, water taxi, and fishing. You will want to rent a car at the airport to explore. It was easy to navigate the island as it has one main road. Also, the people of Exuma were very welcoming toward tourists.Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful, relaxing vacation and we look forward to future visits!

Lovely property

Exactly like the photos, very clean and well maintained. Kitchen had all the cooking tools we needed. It was awesome having two washer/dryers. We also appreciated having the generator bc we lost power on the last day.

Oh my goodness! What an amazing place. I will never stay anywhere else because there is no way that there is a better home than this on the island. From the moment you walk in and see the 20 ft vaulted ceilings, you will be impressed. Even before we arrived, Lynda was taking care of us and Melanie was available to take care of anything we needed. The home is directly on the beach. No rocks to walk around. Just a straight shot to paradise with kayaks and paddle boards for everyone!! The home was absolutely immaculately clean with every kitchen tool and gadget you could ever need. Towels and blankets and cold air and slippers and robes for everyone. A heated pool right on the beach surrounded by coconut palms and privacy too. There was no one on the beach. Ever. It was a perfect playground for our friends and family. Tim’s on the Bay is a great restaurant that is a very short walk (2 houses down). Everyone we met in Exuma is extremely friendly and hospitable. Also, if there are no sea turtles to be found at Hoopers Bay, go to Minns boat rental place. When staying at this house you MUST order a meal from da kitchen!!!!!! It’s cheaper than a restaurant, on time, home made, and delicious!! What a great deal. The meal fed us for 2 days!!

Beautiful Property!

We were so pleased with our choice of this property! It is perfect in every way. The owners have thought of everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The house manager, Lynda, was wonderful and communication was so helpful. They provide great items to play in both the pool and ocean. There is not one thing I can recommend for this property! It was perfect!

Perfection in Paradise!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Everything about our week in this spectacular slice of paradise was perfect! Melanie and Jay were so helpful before the trip with recommendations and advice, and they were super quick to respond to any questions or communications. They also provided lots of info in a handy binder in the house itself. Ms. Lynda was a doll and gave us such a warm welcome on arrival. The house itself is very spacious, bright, and well-appointed. We had two families of 4 staying for the week and there was more than enough room for us all. It was clear that no expense has been spared in stocking this home, which makes it such an easy stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need (and more), and the BEDS were SO comfortable - we slept like babies! As if the house wasn't enough to make us swoon, the outdoor space truly took our breath away. The views from this home are unreal and mesmerized us from the moment we walked through the front door. The deck area is HUGE with tons of seating options (shaded and otherwise). We took full advantage of the kayaks and the swimming pool. The beach is pristine - we only saw one other person when we were there! And, as a bonus, we took a fishing charter and were able to cook our catches on the grill that night, which was the perfect ending to our week of relaxation in paradise! We will definitely be back again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

Family Trip

Villa Oceania was a fantastic place to stay for our family trip. We enjoyed the amenities of the house and enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks on the beach. I would highly recommend this house for your next trip to the beautiful Exumas!

Perfect house for group of friends

We just spent the most amazing week at Villa Oceania! We had a group of 10, which included 3 families total (youngest was 16) and I think we enjoyed everything the house, and our hosts and sweet Lynda, had to offer. The villa was beautiful, the pool was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing! Our boys loved the kayaks, paddleboards, and cornhole. We used the pool floats, beach chairs & umbrellas & several nights played giant jenga, uno & poker. The poker chips were a special bonus for the boys who had nightly poker games! We enjoyed walking down to Tim’s several times for a quick bite or a great specialty drink. Otherwise, the house is stocked with anything you might need. The hosts & Lynda truly have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, even putting the house literally within a couple of minutes from the airport. They also checked on us during our stay to see if we needed anything and their communication and response was always immediate to any questions we had. It was a great week and we loved our trip to the island thanks to Jay, Melanie and Lynda and our stay at Villa Oceania!

Amazing Vacation Property

We were a group of 10 adults getting together for a group birthday party. The house was in a perfect location on the island, only a few minutes from the airport. Georgetown was a short 15 minute drive and there are many restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores all very close to the house. Prime Meats and Smitty’s were the best places to get groceries and there is a liquor store next to Smitty’s. The property is beautiful and we had everything we needed for our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool floats, loungers, etc., the house had everything!!!! There was plenty of space in the house for all 10 of us and we never felt cramped. Lynda, the house manager was always available and communication was amazing. She can answer any question you have. We have stayed at many different VRBOs in many different locations and my wife and I agree this was the best stay we have ever had at a VRBO. Do not hesitate to book this property it is perfect, and the island is beautiful.

Birthday trip getaway!

We stayed at Villa Oceana last week and had the best time. We were celebrating my 50th birthday. Lynda was wonderful in helping us find a restaurant for my birthday dinner and helping us get a cake and gluten free cupcakes (my daughter is GF) delivered for my birthday. The beach was very relaxing. We did some excursions on the island as well and had a great time. We loved the Villa and hope to be back one day!
