The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"The Malting has be developed to a very high standard, and is staffed by very competent and polite people. The bar area has a very traditional feel to it with comfortable seating and beautiful surrounds. The restaurant, whist a little expensive delivers quality food however the menu is rather limited. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.
