"It was a lovely stay in a quiet neighborhood. There are many things to do within a 30 minute drive. There are even a few restaurants that are within a short walking distance. The kitchen and house were fully stocked and we were very comfortable. There was great communication with the owner. I will definitely book here again!"

"What a wonderful and unique stay for our family road trip! After many hotel rooms, our cabin at Avila was a fun stay. This is mostly an RV park, but it's quiet and friendly with several cabins to rent. We were a bit confused, thinking we had booked the Hot Springs cabins. But there is a great pool, trails, and other fun activities."

"The views are incredible. The location is perfect for Pismo, Avila beaches, hiking, SLO and whatever else you like to do. Ryan the host is always in range to take care of any other needs you may have or insight to help make sure you have a great vacation. Our girls loved hanging out with Bourbon and Cider and feeding Walter the tortiose. The place is very quiet, minimal vehicle traffic and awesome views! We loved it!"

"We were thrilled to stay at Karl’s cottage and had an amazing time as always! We were able to see deer and turkeys throughout each day and enjoy the tire and tree swings on the property with our kids, and the upstairs is perfect for running and playing when it’s too windy, rainy, or cold. The house is perfectly located near Moonstone Beach, the playground, Fiscalini Ranch, and the town. We look forward to visiting again!"

Check in is super easy and they provide parking passes for a nearby parking garage. "Had an amazing time at Vista House. The plan was to have a nice relaxing get away with my friend and dog, have some laughs and drink good wine. Ryan was a wonderful host. Responded to all of our questions and request in a timely manner. My dog enjoyed her daily visits from Cider and Bourbon loved exploring and sniffing out canyon. I look forward to returning again and will recommend to all of my friends."

"This property is so perfectly aesthetic it’s like living in a decor magazine but still functional- things actually work and are comfortable as well as looking nice. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so it’s a calm place to relax but a short walk to the downtown area for dining, wine tasting, etc. Pauline was also very responsive, we asked for a replacement propane tank for the grill and she brought it the same day!For pet owners- the yard is not fenced in so a long leash was helpful to let the dog...
