"I would say the cottage is modest but comfortable. It is located at the edge of Petit Jean State Park so it is near everything the park has to offer. I planned to bring my dog but changed my mind at the last minute. It would have been perfect for travel with a pet. It is located far from the highway and has a very large field for dogs to run and play. "

It was too windy for us to use the fire pit and we only stayed one night but plan on coming back. It was fun to get out on the kayaks, our son had the best time. "The cabin was perfect! Our host was gracious and the bed was comfy! Our adult daughter said the couch slept good too... it made into aboutna full size bed. The area is quiet and safe. We hsd late 9 pm supper at Dover at the El Barrio Mexican Resturant. Visited Ponca the next morning to see elk and leaf peep and visit to the Buffalo River bluffs A gorgeous trip and caring host."
