Very clean and comfortable house with all you needed at hand. Well equipped and the welcome pack was much appreciated. One of the best properties we have stayed in. This was probably the nicest holiday rental that I have come across. It was very clean and comfortable. Absolutely no faults at all. I would highly recommend Rachael's Rest as long as it doesn't get so busy that I can't get booked in again:))))

Rachael’s Rest truly is a home away from home. It is relaxing, comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for a break. We were pleased to have the option of dining out or eating in depending on how we felt on the day. Very convenient with having a Morrisons store close by. We would definitely stay here again should we be in the area.

The accommodation was immaculate, well presented and comfortable with a generous welcome pack. A bit of traffic noise if out in the back garden. Lots to do in the area-we ran put of time so hope to return. A very friendly area to stay in.

Lots of castles!

The property was great with lots of extras,very clean everything you could want. The only little thing was sofas very uncomfortable,but as the weather was good not in much. Lots of places to visit kept us busy for the week.

A great base to explore Northumberland coast and castles

Small but welcoming the property is very clean, well presented and decorated beautifully to represent the coastal town and area in which it is situated. An ideal base to explore this area of coast and castles. The hosts are very helpful.

Restful Holiday

We use self-catering accommodation once or twice a year and this is one of the best we have stayed in. Bruce got in touch beforehand and was very helpful. There was a wonderful welcome pack awaiting our arrival and he checked via text while we were there. After leaving he kindly informed me of an item that was found and is sending it on. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts.

A very comfortable base from which to explore the area

A second stay at this property - so it must be good. Can't think of anything else we needed whilst staying there. So much to see and do within a couple of hours drive. I think we'll be back again as we still haven't seen everything.

Short break at Rachael’s Rest

Lovely welcoming house with so many nice touches. Immaculately clean and very well maintained and presented. 15 minutes walk to Amble town centre & harbour etc so ideally located with the added advantage of parking at the property.

Beautiful accomadation

Rachel’s Rest is such a comfy immaculately clean accomadation. We stayed 4 nights. It was home from home everything you need is at hand. Fully equipped kitchen comfy beds. Ten minute walk into amble where ther is restaurants cafes and pubs. The area where Rachel’s Rest is is really quiet and has a pretty back garden with table and chairs. The communication with the hosts Bruce and Maureen was excellent. So worth a visit and stay.

Sight seeing holiday.

The proprerty is highly suitable for two people - it is very well equipped, very well presented and spotlessly clean. The location allowed us easy access to all points from Hadrians Wall to Berwick on Tweed. Excellent welcome pack too!

Lovely place to stay.

What a lovely base from which to explore the coast of Northumberland. Rachael's rest was scrupulously clean, modern and welcoming. The touches and treats added by Bruce and Maureen, the property owners were very much appreciated. It was also great to have a property with off-street parking. The property is situated within a ten minute walk into the small town of Amble as well as a quiet beach. We very much enjoyed sampling the delights of Amble. We would highly recommend The Fish Shack, La Famiglia, The Taj Mahal and Radcliffe's Cafe Bar.

Cannot fault this property 5 star in every department. A lot of thought had gone into the comfort and enjoyment of the guests. A lovely welcome pack on arrival and if needed easy contact with the owners.

A beautifully presented property!

This is a fantastic holiday house, everything in tiptop condition and very comfortable all round. Great location for exploring coast and countryside in Northumberland. Would highly recommend it. The owners Maureen and Bruce very helpful.
