"The hotel was clean but needs updating. It felt a little like a time warp to 1996. The breakfast offerings were varied enough but the food was school-cafeteria quality at best. The staff was elusive. The in-hotel restaurant was fine but way over-priced."

"Cottage was perfect with a lake cove view. Adirondack chairs everywhere so you can watch the sunsets over the mountains to west. Gardens were beautiful! Make sure you hike the trails along the lake."

"Such a cool experience!!! Host was extremely responsive and we extended our stay for an extra day. Cool little historical hiking trail across the street and loved cold plunging in the river."

"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night."

"This is a beautiful old home converted into a bed & breakfast /hotel. DJ and Amy are friendly and homey (the owners). I had to be at work early and breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00 so that didn’t work. The TV in my room had very weak signal, eventually I gave up on it. But a lovely environment and beautiful scenery!"
