We had issues with the heat both nights and the hot tub was cold when we arrived. We had to contact the host on multiple occasions. The issue with the heat was never resolved.

Beautiful cabin! The deck in the back in the Riverview are spectacular! Everything was perfect in the hot tub was very inviting! Only minor issue was you may want to bring your own bottled water because of the very slight sulfur smell of the well water. We will definitely look forward to staying there again in the future!

We had a very enjoyable vacation at this home! It’s positioned perfectly on the water with a canopy of black oak trees. We just wished we had brought a broom because the leaves are falling! The home is very comfortable and a joy to stay in.

Secluded location!

We really don't want people to know about this location because it's so good we're afraid it'll be hard to book in the future. It's not a luxurious place but it's clean, well maintained, has some updates, and is very comfortable. If you enjoy cooking, with possible leftovers, you might bring foil/plastic wrap and zip lock bags. We planned to out to dinner but elected to stay and enjoy the seclusion and running stream. This one goes on the list of visiting again!

Peaceful and Comfortable

We were looking for something next to moving water in the mountains, and this property was perfect! The deck practically sits out over the little river that bends around the property. The hot tub was a nice addition, but the main event is that river! The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We'd stay here again.

Nature Sanctuary just 15 minutes from town

This house was a pretty perfect, we would love to come back during the summer months, the location is perfect and the house has all you could ask for. Comfortable living room, spacious bedrooms, perfect patio and the creek. It was only myself, my husband and 9 year old, it was the perfect size. Even though its 15 minutes from town, it feels very secluded, there was no cell service but AMAZING wifi. We will be back.

Great place but do not bring your boat

We loved the house but the standard listing says nothing about not being able to get a boat in the driveway until the day of check in. We planned our whole trip around being our boat to Blue Ridge Lake. The driveway is an extremely steep downhill narrow driveway with nowhere to turn around once you are down there. Telling me I can’t bring it when I’m already driving there and it’s too late to cancel and book something else is not helpful.

Beautiful property

The cabin is on a beautiful piece of property. Our family really enjoyed our stay. A few negatives: upon arrival a note was on the fridge/freezer saying out of order. We understand that sometimes things cannot be fixed immediately, especially because our stay was right after Christmas, however, communicating the issue before our arrival would have been appreciated. A mini fridge was provided, but it would not have been large enough to store food for our family for the whole trip. The microwave was also not working. The grill, in our opinion was dirty and not taken care of. The kitchen has an ant problem so be careful with what is on the counters. Several windows were open when we got there

Perfect get away to find some rest

Sitting on the deck so close to the creek was amazing! The house was comfortable but the internet connection was a little inconsistent and made streaming shows and movies difficult.
