Had a fantastic time! House, dock, and outdoor fire pit were all wonderful and as described. Great property and would definitely return. Only gripe was that there were no filters for the coffee machine but we ran up to dollar general to pick some up (and left them for the next guest).

Very comfortable, well maintained house on a very pretty (and clean) lake. Our multigenerational family had the best time. Everyone commented on the comfort of the beds and furniture and all agreed we want to return next year. We loved it!

All as described

We are a family of 10 we were all in comfy beds. The kitchen was well supplied the views were great . close to Blue Ridge.

Not great, not terrible

The main things that we were not happy about: 1.) Was not clean, floor was dirty, counters and table top was dirty, someone’s Qtips and soap wrapper was in the up stairs bathroom, there were spider webs everywhere. Tons outside, several inside. 2.) Dryer did not work. Very disappointing. Luckily we were only there for 3 full days. 3.) The TV downstairs did not work. We even bought batteries for the remote thinking that may be the problem but nope. And it was college football opening weekend. 4.) The paper towels that were there when we got there were almost gone. Seems petty but every place we have ever stayed had a full roll of paper towels when we arrived. 5.) No outdoor furniture was out on any of the outdoor decks/entertaining areas. In my opinion it should be out, we should not have to get it out. 6.) Decor (furniture, appliances, Knick knacks all was very out dated. The petty things probably would have been overlooked if not for the pretty major things. Things we were happy about: 1.) the location. 2.) the cabin was beautiful built. 3.) the location 4.) the number of rooms. 5.) the location.

GREAT TIME!!

We had a great time. The property matched the online photos and description perfectly. We really enjoyed the stay and the people in the surrounding communities. It was a short drive to lots on fun things to do. The lake was absolutely amazing. The cove made it calm and great to kayak and paddle board in.

Nice area/Dry lake

Unfortunately the lake was extremely low during Thanksgiving week and the next door neighbors were having a dock built during our stay. Track hoe and construction noise/visuals of what little water remained in the lake. The house was comfortable and the kitchen well organized. Washing machine takes forever to fill up. Living room fireplace smokes bad without proper ventilation. Outdoor fireplace was nice. Plenty of well lighted parking. Downstairs playroom worked well for the kids. I'd give our stay a solid four stars.

Family vacation

This property was wonderful! Right on lake. So nice to have our boat in a nice deep water dock in front of house. The host was very responsive. We had oven problems but host ordered new appliance. Plus the grill was nice. Quiet. Town of Blue Ridge was fun to explore and shop. Good restaurants. Tubing close by was fun. Living Waters winery most lovely setting and good wine and wine cocktails, plus Cajun food truck.
