Quick Getaway

The cabin is great! Clean, well stocked, and more than enough room for a couple.Unfortunately we arrived after dark the first day so it was a little difficult to find. The property owner stayed on the phone with me guiding our way until we unlocked the front door. The next night when we returned from dinner we had no problem because we knew where we were going. Even though it was just me and my husband it was nice having two bathrooms. The back porch is great in the evening for sitting in front of the fireplace. On our last night we had a four-legged visitor, an older Bassett named Little Dude. He lives in the area and wanders around visiting neighbors. I sent a text to the cell number on his collar and received a text back with the owner’s correct number. The only thing that would make this cabin perfect would be a Keurig!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

The cabin was gorgeous and secluded, but close enough to Blue Ridge for us to easily go out and enjoy the town. Wonderful communication from the host and the hot tub was amazing after a full day of hiking. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect location for a R&R trip

Make sure you arrive in the daylight…the directions help but it’s a little tricky finding the right secluded home! Once you find it, you will be hidden from the bustle of the real world & swept into peace and quiet! If that’s what you are aiming for … this is the place for you! Super peaceful, home was fully stocked, indoor/outdoor decor made the setting perfect! There were so many positives, including being close to scenic rides, great restaurants and outdoor activities! We will be back! We loved this place and area! Thank you for making our trip fantastic!

Peaceful Existence

Deer Crossing is a great place to totally unwind! Between the early morning coffee in front of the outdoor fireplace or watching the deer moving in the morning and afternoon, it was very easy to download and rest from the world. Lots of fun little trails to walk your dog too!

Deer Crossing was true to it's name

We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Crossing. The cabin was clean, welcoming and well stocked. Secluded but conveniently located to town. The porch fireplace in the evenings was relaxing. We saw deer each morning. We would stay here again.

Very secluded and comfortable cabin

My wife and I booked this cabin for a weekend getaway. This time we brought our dogs. We all had a great time. The cabin is very secluded so the dogs enjoyed running around and exploring. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We found the upstairs bed to be the most comfortable and slept very soundly.

Anniversary Trip

We were so pleased with our entire visit. The cabin was very clean and tidy. The kitchen had all of the items that we needed, including the grill and grill utensils. The hottub is drained after each visit which is comforting. The quiet setting was wonderful and exactly what we wanted in our trip.

The photos on the website don’t do this property justice, the back deck and fireplace were an unexpected surprise, and it is very secluded and quiet. A little tricky on access, but GPS homes in on where the property begins. We loved it!

Nice Escape

The property was very clean and a perfect getaway for our family. The kids enjoyed the trails and it was secluded enough to feel like we had privacy. The outdoor fireplace was a favorite as well as the upstairs balcony. Even though it rained, it was still a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that is worth revisiting.
