So happy to able to enjoy our favorite cabin again. The outside property is massive and perfect for our children to freely roam, play, and relax without worry. We love the floor plan, amazing deck and patio views. Its location is perfect if your a family on the go. We didnt miss a beat hitting the trails, caves and mountain coasters all within an easy 1.5hrs. Also ..Project Chimps is right up the the road if you want a close to home hike or experience a scheduled tour. This cabin is a family must!! Thanks again for another amazing spring break cabin experience

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful views, amazing porch, comfortable beds, and a large yard! The game room, hot tub, and paved drive were icing on the cake! The host was friendly and quick to respond. What a perfect weekend!

Communication with the host from the moment we booked, throughout our stay, and upon checkout was excellent. The home was clean and comfortable. Our boys loved the foosball table and the downstairs media area was great for playoff football. Would absolutely recommend Almost Heaven to any families looking for a quiet getaway.

Cabin was so cute with AMAZING views. Paved roads all the way up the mountain to the cabin with a circular driveway with room for several vehicles. The host was friendly and always very quick to reply with any questions.

The cabin was nice and cozy. We had plants of space to play game, dance, talk, and just enjoy ourselves. The ladies enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit despite the chilly weather. Everyone was comfortable and the scenery was breathtaking.

Almost Heaven lives up to it's name. The setting is like a national park, the view gorgeous! The cabin is lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The many amenities added to the charm and enjoyment: gas fireplace, hot tub, game room, and our favorite the back deck to sit and drink in nature's beauty. It is a refreshing escape great for family and friends. Rachel was easy to contact and a gracious host. We enjoyed the yummy apple butter she left us for breakfast. Thank you We will be back.

Great stay! Our group of four seniors had a super stay at Almost Heaven! More than enough room. It has a nice kitchen to cook any of your meals. There are relaxing views from the screened in porch. Continue out on the open deck to get a closer look of the beautiful mountain sunsets. Booking was very easy! The manager, Rachel was quick in responding to messages and provided great resources of information to plan your stay! Also, provided a personalized greeting for a special touch! Pricing was very reasonable. The check-out instructions were super easy. We would book again!

This house had homey and appreciated details: a well supplied kitchen for cooking meals, quality linens, night lights and the like. Watching sunsets from the porch, lightning storms in the distance and foggy mornings that cleared into beautiful days were restful. Area hiking and water sports were plentiful.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Almost Heaven! Our host Rachel was awesome and had great communication with us! Check in and out was easy and not complicated. We have stayed at other cabins where there was 3 pages of what to do when checking out. Rachel had it very simple and easy for us. The views were amazing and we saw a ton of wild life! The cabin was easy to get to and sits on a ton of property. We plan to have this as our yearly cabin! Thank you Rachel

We had an amazing 4th of July weekend at almost heaven. 6 of us (4 adults & 2 toddlers) we had all the room and amenities needed. We slept on the main floor comfortable king bedroom and our friends in the basement which had a separate bedroom with a queen bed and tv area. There was also a loft with 2 twin beds & futon which we did not use but definitely would when the kids are older! The house sits on the top of a hill with beautiful views of the blue ridge mountains. Literally almost heaven.
