We had the best time at Bear-Foot Hideaway! From the moment the cabin was booked, we received customer service excellence and clear and helpful communication from the owner/manager. The cabin was so clean and each space and room was cozy, charming, and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed having the gas logs, games, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, and there was even a scavenger hunt on the property that just added so much fun! This place truly has it all and is perfect for families. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at this extremely well maintained cabin! Super clean. Tons of space and comfy beds. Views, hot tub and yard/parking were all perfect! Easy drive and close to everything too. Master is upstairs so be easy on the fireplace because all of the heat goes up there. Downstairs was the perfect area for hanging out with lots of games, big tv, pool table, bar, mini fridge, etc!

Relaxing Weekend Away

My family very much enjoyed our long weekend at Bearfoot Hideaway. We booked last minute, and the property manager was very responsive and provided great service. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all of the amenity we needed for a quiet and family friendly stay. We also really enjoyed the scavenger hunt- such a fun way to explore the property!

Family Birthday Weekender

We stayed at the Bear-Foot Hideaway from Thursday evening (Mar 13) - Sunday morning (Mar 16, 2025) to get the family together and away from it all for a 60th birthday celebration. Communication with Debbie was very easy and comfortable. We had bad thunderstorms and lost power for about 8 hrs. Debbie had mentioned to me that this happens, so we were well prepared. The price could have been a little lower, but it was a nice cabin - and close to many amenities!

Quiet mountain getaway

What a great place this is!! The location is great close enough to everything but super quiet, only a couple of other cabins. The cabin is clean and well appointed with plenty of games and things to do. Great stay!! One word of caution, the cabin is on a steep hill, if you go in winter it get icy and slippery.

This was a great property located 9 minutes from a grocery store and 15 from Blue Ridge. Debbie was great to communicate with and very accurate on all descriptions. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, highly recommend this cabin.

Weekend fun

Just what we needed!!

The property was nice the cabin had everything you would need. There are more than enough games and forms of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had plenty of cooking appliances. We throughly enjoyed every minute of it. The location is great, lots of places to shop and eat. Definitely would rent again. The host was absolutely the best, from directions to a mishap with a pink wash cloth. She communicated with us in a timely manner and checked on us during the stay.

Best Fall Getaway!

Everything was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. It is an enchanting home that helped us all leave the hustle and bustle behind. Fall getaway

What a perfect setting for a family gathering! The cabin is clean and comfortable and the bedroom/bathroom combinations on each of the 3 floors allowed everyone to have their own space. The cabin is tucked away in a beautiful and quiet setting with plenty of outdoor seating and activity areas. Being able to travel with our dog was an added bonus. Debbie is a very responsive host and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect. We hope to visit again.

Fantastic place to stay!

This cabin is the absolute best! So much room having three bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, plus a loft with additional beds! Great location at only a few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin itself has everything you could need and want, including tons of games for the indoors and outdoors, including board games, pool, darts, an Xbox, and a karaoke machine! The scavenger hunt was so well put together and a fun activity that we did as teams (racing against times.) The owners provided a prize for finishing that was well worth it! We did have an issue getting the air conditioner to click on, but my husband was able to reach the owner quickly and the issue was solved! If we visit Blue a ridge again, we will definitely stay in this cabin. Highly recommend!
