"Love, love this beautiful cabin! Check in was so easy, the cabin was clean and stocked with all the necessities and so many extras! While there are many attractions in the area, we most enjoyed relaxing by the bayou. We didn't want to leave and are already looking forward to another visit!"

"It was our own fishing camp without camping. It was so nice to grill our catch and sit in the twilight listening to the frogs and crickets in. A beautiful time that we will never forget. Owner was super thoughtful, the house was stocked for comfort and the neighborhood was quiet and safe."

"Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!"

"This house was perfect for our family of five adults. Very unique rooms with comfy beds and soft linens. Lots of little extras that you don’t see from other owners. The back yard has a huge privacy fence, a nice fire pit, even tiki torches- all combined it made for perfect evenings sitting outside visiting. We hope this is available on our next visit to New Iberia. :)"

"Perfect location, perfect property. Good communication with the host and catered to our arrival schedule. Thank you! ~~ The house was placed with the Bayou in the backyard and the downtown area right outside the front door. It had perfect access to all the downtown shops and dining spots. I absolutely loved the chateau and the city! The house was well accommodating with many different items in case you forgot to pack some. We want to come back again one day for a longer stay.!"

"Our family of 5 (two 17 year olds, myself and my husband, and my mother) spent four nights here for our spring break. We could not have been happier with Chateau Royale!! Location: it was awesome to be able to walk to downtown shops and restaurants but being a block off of the main street, it was quiet. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the Bayou. My husband fished and our kids kayaked in the bayou. We also enjoyed being centrally located between areas that we wanted to visit like...

"Great location, house was thoroughly clean and beautifully arranged. Would be perfect location for downtown New Iberia festivities. Parking is convenient but a little tight if you have a big vehicle. I understand it’s an alley so it can’t be helped, I’m just saying if possible, try to visit in a smaller-sized vehicle. Overall the house and hosts are 10/10 and we hope to visit again!"

"Legit 3 bedroom/2 bath house. Well stocked with dishes/utensils/grills/boiling pots etc. The screened front and back porch were our favorite places - north wind one evening made north side a little cool. House is (of course) elevated with very relaxing views of the marsh/Vermillion Bay on north-west side or the woods on the other side. Nice trees with lots of Spanish moss added to it all. Very peaceful and restful for my wife and me. Mosquito repellent is a necessity once outside the screen...
