"Room was clean and comfortable but the dj and music until 02:30 meant stopping by in Dorchester to break our journey to make sure we were not too tired for the following day was pointless. I thought being a pub they may be open till late but that was too much. "

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. "Gordon House was absolutely lovely and even better than expected! So spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. Anne the owner was such a lovely, delightful lady, at breakfast she was friendly, kind and considerate to all of the guests and nothing was too much trouble. "We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink."

"Perfect location and the facilities are really good. Very dog friendly and I found it the perfect relaxing stay. Studland beach just minutes walk away. Breakfast really good , didn’t have dinner as went into Corfe. Love the whole area . Booked to come again"
