It was absolute fantastic beach trip. First time we stayed on the beach front, and we are spoiled. The house was perfect for our family and very clean. Debby and I discovered that she knows my family that live in the area. It was like we’re family. So much fun. Kids want to come back there. Me too.

Great house for family vacation

This was a great house! We had the grandkids (5 & 8 yrs old), our grown kids, and us (7 people total). The house was exactly as described. Our host was great with communications and check in/out. All appliances worked perfectly, furniture and beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean when we checked in. On day one the hot water heater started leaking; we called the host, and it was repaired that same day while we were away so no issue at all…very responsive. View from upper floors was spectacular. A/C worked great and kept the house very cool even though it was +93F all week. We would definately rent this house again…just wish it had an elevator. Thanks for a great family vacation and memories!

4th of July vacation

Great house. Has everything from beach chairs and umbrellas to kids toys and plates/cookware. Everyone’s had multiple pillows and covers. House was a bit sandy but that’s expected of a beach house. One of the pull out sofa was broken but the owner even gave us a discount. Overall 10/10

Well organized. We appreciated that there was a reasonable amount of "stuff"- a great puzzle, spices left behind by others- and yet a completely cleaned out pantry and fridge to move into. Thanks for the personalized touch when we arrived!

Oceanfront gem

Non-commercial area; we felt like we had our own private beach. The view was spectacular! Convenient to shopping, restaurants and extracurricular activities. Kids enjoyed the ocean and collected quite a haul of pretty seashells. Fishing off the pier was great fun. Debby was easy to reach and responded promptly to our inquiries. Treasured memories!

Family vacation

We had a lovely family vacation at this beautiful home. The house is centrally located on the island, easily within walking distance of shopping and dining. Right on the beach, perfect for a quick trip back if a small person forgot a toy or needed a snack. When packing for your trip, just bring yourself, your bathing suit, and a towel. The house has everything else you'll need! Thank you for having us!

Vacation 2022

This is the first time we have visited Emerald Isle. The entire vacation was perfect. The house, which was just as described, was beautiful. It was extremely clean and everything needed for our trip was supplied. Debby, the host was very helpful. She told us about the house, the area and good places to eat. We had a blast. We do plan to return sometime and hope to be able to stay here again. Recommend this place to anyone. IT IS GREAT!!!

Wonderful property and owner!

Our family/ friend group rented both East and West sides of this property the same week so that we could all vacation together at Emerald Isle, our absolute favorite beach spot! This arrangement suited our needs perfectly for our group of adults, young adults and 3 children 5 and under. Property was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals each night. Short boardwalk to beach is perfect and this area of beach was very uncrowded. Sunrises and sunsets are visible from the porch which is amazing! Debby, the owner was amazing to work with and very responsive both before and during our stay and even greeted us when we arrived with a tour of the property. If I could give this property more stars, I would. We had an amazing vacation and made memories to last a lifetime!

Great family beach house

Beautiful home, right on the beach and great location! Home owner was very welcoming and kind and very prompt with any questions we had! I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it! House was perfect for our family getaway and the view was stunning!

Emerald Isle stay

We had a lovely time in Emerald Isle. Everything described in the listing was accurate. The view and ease to get to the beach was perfect. The property location was close enough to walk to restaurants, ice cream, and shopping. We would go back some day!

Excellent location and easy to use property

Easy rental, host was very very kind and even left us brownies. The house is situated over three floors with outdoor deck area on each floor. There were some nails in decking that were a bit sharp and a little splintering on decking, but nothing that caused problems for us, could on a little tike though. The house was great,well maintained yet casual enough to be comfortable. We felt it was kept very clean and the bedding was very clean. The carpet is cream, so you see minor wear and tear, but it is the beach so who cares. In general there was plenty of kitchen space and pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc to make meals and eat easily. Handrails on stairs were sturdy if anyone has an issue. Bathrooms were good, showers were nice (loved the outdoor shower!) We will likely return to the property unless we grow in number. We had 9 full sized people and we just fit.

Family vacation 2021

The location and proximity to the beach was great. The house was big enough for our group of 8. Would have been nice to have a 4th bathroom but we made due with 3. There were plenty of beach chairs in the garage for our use and boogie boards for the kids. Plenty of parking space which made things easier. Carpeting on stairs and living room was worn and stained but as clean as could be.

Delightful 4th of July Family Beach Week

We had a great time at Emerald Isle gathered with family and staying in this beautiful beach home! The views were fabulous and the home was cheerful, very comfortable and well equipped! The owner was a pleasure to work with from booking to recommendations within the area. Parking was easy as we had 3 vehicles with us. We would all enjoy to return to this home again!
