Great room at a great price and convenient if you're going to Montage Mnt. The free breakfast wasn't the best, but it was OK. Our room was very clean.

When we booked this room, we requested a crib/pack & play, which was listed as an available option at the location, for our 10 month old. When we arrived, we asked the staff about it and they said that’s not something they can supply us with. We were frustrated but made due with the situation. Fortunately we had a king-sized bed, but that was also not as comfortable as we hoped. You could feel the springs in your back… Had a few noisy people Breakfast was just okay, the hot food was kind of cold, even after bringing out the “fresh” batch.

I’ve had worse
My stay was relaxing, however it was disrupted due to the Wi-fi being out for some reason. It wasn’t made clear to me why. I didn’t appreciate being told to call customer service myself. I wanted a decent place to spend a quiet night, not to spend hours on a phone with a customer service rep about the hotels Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is major part of our lives today so It was slightly upsetting. Also, the toilet bowl under the seat and the base has not been cleaned. I don’t like to complain . I, myself was a housekeeper and this was clearly visibke filth. Overall the hotel was clean and almost all staff I had interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Montage Event Stay
I was working a ski patrol clinic at Montage Mountain and stayed at the Comfort Suites for its closeness to the mountain. It was close to restaurants on Glenmaura for dinner. The free breakfast started my day before the clinic.

The room smelled very bad, like dirty gym clothes, the rug was dirty with a huge stain on it. The sofa in the room was very old and run down, did not feel comfortable sitting on it or walking in the room without shoes. The floor around the bathroom area was sticky. We booked for 2 nights, but we left after the first and checked into another hotel. Front desk staff was not helpful when I asked if we could check out early, said I would have to contact Expedia.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times I will say each time I stay it seems to be a little worse. It was a non smoking room but every time you walked in it smelled like smoke. The carpets were stained and there was white stain marks on the couch, I can only imagine what those were. The bed was okay, the tv kept going out. The vents in the bathroom seem to connect with the room next door so you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the bathroom.

Good, but with Annoyances
Room is decently sized, but bathroom is quite small and entering/exiting requires one to squeeze in and stand next to the toilet to open/close the door (and both of us hit our head on the towel rack). The Dish network for the TV was absolutely horrible... about 4 or 5 channels in total connected with programming; everything else was just a blank black screen... this was both at night and in the morning... very disappointed that we could not watch the NFC championship game on FOX. Breakfast was so-so. Waffles had a funny taste to them, believe it was the batter. Eggs were gone by 8:15 and not refilled, but no big deal. Door key cards had issues. Other than that, all was fine. Room was clean and beds comfortable.

Great Hotel but felt cheated.
We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the hotel and it's amenities. The 2 staff we met were friendly. (Even an indoor pool!) I booked the hotel using Hotels.com and the price was $106.22 CAD. They charged me $106.22 USD. Too tired to fight about it with hotel staff. (The woman on the front desk was new.) Maybe Hotels.com can correct this error. I booked my next stay in Salem, Va it quoted $100.00 CAD and was charged $72 USD

It's a good budget friendly place but I wish the guy by the kitchen during breakfast was less snippy and more accommodating when I asked to see the packaging of some of the breakfast options because of my dietary restrictions.

The hotel was extremely nice. Haven’t stayed at a comfort inn this nice before. Parking was low in the front of the building, and the back was a little cluttered with random junk. But interior and rooms were great. Will stay here again for future stays.
