How can I begin? From the reservation, communication, check in, accommodation, location, service, awesome view......what else can I list? We had the most fabulous time of our lives. The house was a perfect Polynesian experience and we enjoyed it for 5 wonderful nights. From the privacy, the sunsets, the pool, swimming and kayaking off into the beautiful blue bay, it was the perfect first time to French Polynesia!
Clement, the property manager, provided everything we asked for. He was there at our beckon call and arranged all our excursions, transfers from the port to the airport, the electric bikes and the Polynesian feast. We had a few minor issues and he was there the next day to fix them and make sure all was perfect for us. Anais, his partner, gave us a wonderful tour of the home on our arrival and was super through on everything we needed to know about our stay.
The only thing I would give as a consideration was we had 3 couples that stayed and the house only has 2 real bedrooms that is completely explained in the description so it was no surprise. I just loved the house so much that it was not going to hinder our decision to stay there. The third area to sleep is in a loft that has a beautiful staircase made entirely of a coconut tree. It is really tricky going up and down the steps. Once up there, it was delightful to sleep but just a warning for those who are not so graceful or lack in balance! I would say it was so worth the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful home!
Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful authentic island home that was so close to everything you could possibly need. Just walk! Carmelines was at our back door for a wonderful breakfast of croissants jambon and fromage and a full box of French pastries to take home for dessert each night. Moorea Beach Café was a great water side spot to enjoy a nice meal! Several nights we just went to the market and brought home fresh tuna and grilled on the BBQ, made a salad with a couple of fresh baguettes and enjoyed the seaside sunset!
The whole trip was so wonderful that I really can't sum it up with words. We are already planning trip #2 with in the next 5 years. Big thanks to Clement and Anais for making our stay perfect! Or as you say Mauruuru!
