Our family of four had a great stay at the villa. The villa is very well maintained and feels luxurious. The view is stunning! We enjoyed the deck and jacuzzi. There’s a well stocked kitchen and high end linens and towels. We appreciated the AC in the bedrooms and screens on the sliding doors. We used the property’s pool, tennis court and gym, which were nice additions. The location is ideal, close to restaurants and beach access. The detailed recommendations provided were fantastic—restaurants, beaches, excursions, and where to shop for food (don’t miss the fruit stands!). The highlight of our trip was the private snorkeling trip that was recommended through Teoni and Aimeho. We’d love to come back! Thank you for the great stay!

Best views of the lagoon with all the ocean water equipment (snorkels, boogie boards, etc.). Host greeted us at the door and showed us around. It was nice to cook a few homemade meals

The villa is located in a convient location with easy access to shops and restaurants.The check in process couldn't have been smoother. We arrived on an early morning flight and lucky for us there was no one occuppying the villa so they allowed us to check in early which was incredible after a long day of travel.The villa is as described with stunning views and a great patio to just relax on.The villa is very well equipped from kitchen items to sporting equipment.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Spectacular

The pictures do not do it justice. This villa is absolutely spectacular. The views are breathtaking. The villa itself is spotless and has everything you need. Its very modern and clean. Its close to very nice beaches, restaurants and groceries. The pool was super nice, very clean and refreshing! Honestly, I cant imagine staying anywhere else on Moorea...

Breath taking viewof the lagoon from your living room, bedroom and deck

Villa Honu provided a perfect "home away from home" for our recent stay on Moorea. Check in was effortless. The property was perfect for us. It was hard to leave the deck with the fabulous view, but we tore ourselves away every day to visit the beach and gwt our snorkeling in.

This is one of the best places we've stayed! And we've been all over the world. Everything was perfect with a view that you'll never forget! We spent most of our time at the villa because of the view alone. Everything was clean, walking distance to stores and restaurants (we had a car-recommended), security gate, and best part of the island for activities (swam with humpbacks, sharks, stingrays, cooc beach; all 5 minute drive from villa). Villa came with laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, water, ice, and the perfect amount of AC at night if needed. The cold tub was awesome after a day in the sun on the beach. We don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. Low season (mid-November), so hardly anyone around, weather was perfect and no mosquitos. Host sent a very detailed recommended agenda, which was very helpful and we ended up doing it all, Also provided were towels, snorkel gear, binoculars, wifi, tennis rackets, etc....THIS IS A MUST BOOK! THE VIEW VIEW VIEW VIEW! Mahalo & Aloha

Perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay - the house is well located and has incredible views. It's very cozy and well-appointed. We enjoyed the added feature of a hot tub as well as laundry. The pool was lovely too. Would definitely return!

Ideal location, helpful manager, and great property

Jenny, the property manager was great with checkin explaining things, offering recommendations, and answering questions. The views from the expansive deck are out of this world. The location is ideal and convenient, particularly if you have a car. Owner Marc was also great with answering questions with the booking, driving in Moorea, and directions. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would book this unit again. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay!

We absolutely loved our eight-night stay at the villa! The views are incredible and the villa is so gorgeous! Jenny, the property manager, was also very responsive to questions etc! We would absolutely recommend this place and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful and Safe

Villa is in a beautiful location. It is gated and safe. It’s also very quiet. Views were amazing. The hot tub doesn’t get hot, but that’s noted in the other reviews. It’s perfect for the afternoon when you get back from doing activities. WiFi is strong and there’s a parking stall up front. Jenny greeted us earlier than scheduled and presented us with a beautiful fruit platter. The villa was fully stocked, although we did not cook or use the kitchen at all. Beautiful villa for those who want to get away from the hotel scene.

Incredible views & great location

The views at this property can't be beat! There is even a stunning view from the shower. AC in the bedroom was great for sleeping and we didn't really need it any other time due to the great breeze. It has a very well equipped kitchen for anything you would want to make. Jenny the property manager was very responsive and was able to let us check out late on our last day. Beach chairs were a huge plus. Be prepared that the jacuzzi is not heated! This was a bit shocking on my first day as I tried to go in around 4pm when there was no sun on it. The next day I went in around noon and it was perfect. A nice little cool down from the afternoon sun. I would definitely stay again!

Good stay with excellent views

Overall a great experience. The views of the ocean are fantastic and the amenities are quite nice. The interior is excellently furnished. We even enjoyed the pool and tennis court. Only downside was the non-functioning hot tub and gym. It looks great in the pictures but it was only upon arrival that we were told it was not in working order which would have been ok but the property manager kept saying it would get fixed throughout the week and it never did. So less a knock on the actual functionality of the hot tub (these things break sometimes) but more on the communication of it.

Breathtaking villa

My family of four (2 kids age 6&10) spent a week in February at this stunning villa. We loved everything about it!! The communication with the manager was excellent. The check in & check out process was a breeze. The villa was well equipped with everything that we needed. The location was perfect, close to everything ( given that you have a car), a beautiful beach, where you can rent out a boat or kayak to go to Coco beach, or to see stingrays and sharks, grocery stores, restaurants ( our favorite was Snack Mahana). Our kids really enjoyed to cool down in the chilly jacuzzi and the pool after a hot day at the beach. The last, but not least- the views from the terrace are just to die for!!! Would definitely come back!!!! ☺️☺️

Paradise on earth!

This location was more beautiful than the pictures! We had a stunning view of the lagoon and a large deck from which to enjoy it. The place was very clean and included every amenity (including beach chairs and snorkel gear) that made our stay very comfortable. Jenny the property manager was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Definitely a place worth returning to!

Luxury and Comfort in Moorea

This was our family's second time in Moorea. Although some folks might want ocean front or overwater bungalows, we rented a car and did not mind driving 3 minutes to the beach. The location of this property is outstanding, in a gated community, perched on hillside with the BEST views of the BEST part of the island. The unit is super luxurious, with everything you need, including beach supplies, snorkels etc (though we brought our own). Waking up, having coffee on the deck, while decideing which beach we were going to visit, was great. Then, in the afternoon, coming home making a drink and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the reef pass was a perfect way to wind down. The property manager, Jenny, was very attentive and very responsive to every request. For our family of 4, this place was perfect. We will be back.

Amazing

We come to Moorea every year. This is our first time staying at this property. It was perfect! The unit has an amazing view of the lagoon. We sat on the deck every morning drinking our coffee, eating breakfast and watching whale spouts and breaches. The unit was equipped with everything we needed to cook from home, relax and enjoy the island life. We generally stay in high end rentals / hotels. I would rate this 5 out of 5.

Amazing find!

This is an amazing property in a gated neighborhood with all the amenities you need. Jenny greeted us and was easily reachable. They provided a bottled water cooler, AC in the bedrooms, snorkel sets and beach chairs, and a crib for our infant. The hottub is certainly a bonus feature which was great for sunsets and evening. They are located close to the activities, but we would recommend having a car to stay here and exploring the island
