"This is an excellent hotel for a number of reasons. First, it is in a very convenient location -- it is in the center of the city; moreover, it is right next to a subway station. Across from the hotel is a park that has an ancient pagoda. The staff was very efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. There is a laundry room for guests, which is free to use and spotless. Breakfast was excellent."

"Needs refurbishing. Its a very nice hotel but its getting little old and needs to be refurbished. food is good, service is just ok, dont expect anything extra from them... they english speaking is low. cleaning ladies are very nice. Enviroment is ok."

"Guests are very noisy. They start chit-chatting at midnight & 6am, kid was yelling & playing instrument at 8am, so we totally could not sleep whole night.
It is cheap so the facilities are poor and old:
(1) the toilet is broken but fixed on the 2nd day
(2) the sink in our room has water leakage problem
(3) the door is broken and cannot be locked
(4) the building is old so you could hear staircase sound when guest walk
The things I appreciate:
(1) super close distance to all shops, most famous...

"4-starred service for the price of 2 stars. Highly recommended. Very convenient location. Plenty of choices of eateries in the shopping centre opposite. 15 minutes walk to the city top tourist attraction Lu Xu Native Place which is free entries, so are other museum.
Our top attraction is Orchid Pavilion (southwest) about 20 minutes taxi. "
