We loved it all….the fireplace, the well equipped kitchen and attention to details( even when it came to bathroom supplies), the separated very comfortable sleep areas with en suites, the classy interior decorating and finishes, the location couldn’t be better, the friendly and warm reception and giving us loads of tips of the area,In other words …it could not have been more stunning and perfect. Thank you Glyn & John!

Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal für Ausflüge. Das Haus ist wunderschön und hat alles was man braucht. Der Empfang von Glyn war perfekt sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder da zwei Wochen nicht ausgereicht haben um alles zu sehen.

We had a wonderful stay at the property in Montsoreau. The house had been beautifully renovated with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. We particularly enjoyed the small courtyard garden, which was a little sanctuary in the providing a cool place to eat our meals surrounded by the lovely plants. Glynn was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcomed and also providing helpful local advice. Thank you for an enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back!

Great home wonderful stay
Beautiful house with all that you could possibly want on holiday. Perfect for our little dog. As the weather was not great the underfloor heating was a bonus. Would definitely book again. Fabulous area.

Tucked away for a cozy stay
We enjoy visiting this area in the late part of autumn. The rain or drizzle or cool days are offset by a wonderful wood-burning fireplace at night. You will enjoy the hospitality of your hosts as you cuddle inside a very beautiful home. We will return again.

Absolut empfehlenswert
Wir haben schon etliche Häuser in Frankreich gemietet. Das Haus von Glyn und John gehört zu den besten. Alles klappte hervorragend. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit modernem Charme. Ein richtiges Zuhause! Zum Willkommen stand ein Korb mit Produkten aus der Gegend parat.
Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Den Innenhof konnten wir leider wegen des Wetters nicht so häufig benutzen. Aber die Polstergruppe im Wohnzimmer hat uns dafür entschädigt. Die geräumigen Schlafzimmer haben beide ein Ensuite-Badezimmer. Im Zwischenstock hat es einen kleinen Wirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und allem Putzmaterial.
Alles war SEHR saubet. Sogar der Grill blitzte.
Nach einer Woche hat Glyn die Betten neu bezogen und alle Bade-.und Küchentücher ersetzt.
Auch das Parkieren beim Château war kein Problem. Wir fanden immer einen Parkplatz.
Das Haus liegt ideal. Wir haben jeden Tag in der Umgebung Neues entdecken können.
Wir würden mehr als 10 Punkte geben, wenn das möglich wäre.
Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Umgebung
Gerne haben wir in der Wohnung der sehr freundlichen Gastgeber Glyn und John eine Woche unseres Sommerurlaubs verbracht. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in einem toll renovierten Haus im Herzen von Montsoreau. Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen!

Beautiful rental
This was our third stay at Le Seize, which is a cosy, comfortable house & it was as good as we remembered.
Montsoreau is a lovely spot with an excellent market, butcher and boulangerie/patisserie. There are lots of chateaux, castles and towns within easy reach, or you can just enjoy the shaded courtyard.
We had no difficulty in parking our car in the car park by the chateau, a few minutes walk from the house and were able to stop briefly outside for unloading/loading.

Great Stay in Lovely Montsoreau
My husband and I spent 6 days in Le Seize in late October/early November. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The village of Montsoreau is lovely and well equipped with stores and restaurants. Montsoreau’s location was perfect for day trips to various chateaux and wineries. Le Seize is an excellent home away from home- it is very cozy, quiet and comfortable. Glyn and John have thought of everything!

Village wonderland
A marvelous, totally restored Village house, well worthy of its four star accommodation rating from France hotel rating services. Wonderfully decorated, loved the towels, the bedding, the comfort, the coziness! The owner’s love of their property is obvious from the moment you open the door and explore this wonderful home!

¨" Ici le bonheur est fait maison"
"Le Seize" à Montsoreau est un endroit où il fait bon prendre le temps de vivre ! Notre charmante hôtesse Glyn a su magnifiquement donner une âme à sa maison, sérénité, confort, décoration etc.. tout y contribue !
Le patio est un petit endroit fleuri adorable ...et le soir ne pas oublier d' allumer les lumières : une féérie pour les yeux !
Enfin il n' y a que le choix pour se promener et découvrir divers endroits à visiter : Histoire, gastronomie, balade au fil de la Loire, les vignobles, artisanat etc... il y en a pour le goût de chacun car c'est une très belle région !
A conseiller entre autres ; "Les Faluns" site troglodyte, l'Abbaye de Fontevraud , le musée des Blindés à Saumur, "Le Clos Luçé " dernière demeure de Léonard de Vinci .... et "le Monsorelli", à 2 pas du logis, où on peut dîner excellement avec une vue étonnante sur le château de Montsoreau et la Loire !
Alors merci pour tout ...
On a qu'une envie c'est d'y revenir !
