Julia is a fabulous host, so kind and responsive. The house(s) are lovely, laid out perfectly for a large gathering. The location is beautiful, on a lovely lake just ten minutes from the lovely downtown Montrose. We have stayed twice at the house and plan to do it again for our next northern reunion.

Large group of us (13) revisited heart lake for the second year in a row and would be happy to make it a third. Plenty of space for up to 20 people, great kitchen and dining space, as well as extremely comfortable living and sleeping accommodations. Very cute brewery down the road and quick drive to Elk for activities. Can’t recommended this place enough. Thank you Julia!

I booked this stay to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday, in which she wanted nothing more than a big family reunion. It was such a beautiful property with amazing amenities. We were lucky with good weather in November to kayak on the lake. Everyone was so pleased with the stay and it was exactly what my mom wanted for her birthday. It provided us with unforgettable memories. Julia was very responsive and was an amazing host that helped with any question that I have. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Our extended family enjoyed our stay in spite of the few rainy days. The house has plenty of space and invites small group conversations as well as gathering of the clan for meals and activities. The lake was just the right size for the kayaks and paddle boards. Everyone loved the house. The host was very accommodating and gracious. Thank you, Julia, for sharing your home.

I really enjoyed everything about this property. I thought it could have been cleaner. There was a lot of dust on the floors. Could have used a better vacuuming. Full disclosure, my family consists of neat freaks so take that comment with a grain of salt. Overall, great!!!

The home is spacious with ample parking and a huge and comfortable great room and kitchen that was wonderful for gathering. The view of the water is lovely, and the hike around the lake very enjoyable. We had a few issues when we first arrived, but the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. I would recommend this property and would happily stay here again!

Yulia has a beautiful lakeside lot with lovely outside amenities. Plenty of room inside for our large multigenerational family. The hostess tries very hard to make you feel welcome and informed about the area once you get checked in. When we spoke to her about our concerns she was quick to respond and offered compensation for our minor inconveniences which we refused. We are from the area so we already knew NE Pennsylvania was beautiful year round. I’m sure we will be back and give the cottage another try when family in that area needs us again.

The house was the perfect size for our family,Very relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed thru the week and pretty much had the entire lake to ourselves. Very nice and peaceful. The host responded to all of our inquiries quickly and was a pleasure to communicate with.

This place is terrific! There's nothing like waking up to a view of the lake and feeling surrounded by serenity. We used this property for a women's retreat. It provided ample bedroom space for everyone as well as bathrooms. The gathering places were terrific. The large kitchen with island, ice maker and 2 refrigerators was a plus as well. The only feedback we'd provide was we'd wished for a bit more cleanliness--kitchen, inside refrigerators, and dusting in particular. That said, we'd totally come back! Julia was a terrific, flexible, friendly, and responsive property manager!

We spent a long weekend at Julia’s property with some friends and children and had a fantastic time! The house was so spacious for our large group, super clean and on a beautiful lake. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out, cook meals, enjoy the fire pit and bbq. Julia was very communicative and flexible with our arrival/departure times. A few of us took advantage of the kayaks, but I hope to return in the summer when we can all take advantage of the lake!! I would definitely recommend his home for any upcoming trips!

We had an amazing time. The house is HUGE and it is very well laid out and decorated. The bedrooms are super comfortable, the kitchen has 2 fridges and 2 ovens which came in very handy as we had a large group. Wifi was fast and reliable for the people who needed to work. The town also had everything we needed with a big grocery store and even a great golf course. Of course our favorite part was the backyard and lake where we spent most of our time playing corn hole and swimming. Julia was incredibly quick to respond when we had questions and a delight to communicate with. Overall, I give this property 5 stars across the board.

I can not recommend this property enough, it had everything a large group could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and look forward to returning next year. The owners were helpful and responsive, the lake was beautiful and the time there was lovely!
