On the contrary it is written on our website and on Expedia that we welcome pets but the charge remains in supplement, even if it is a service dog. My colleague only wanted to tell you that we do not know the specific rules in the UK but here in Switzerland, the charge remains for all the pets. For your next stay, be sure to book a room mentioning that you are coming with a dog and explain in advance the situation. I confirm that a in-room welcome was placed in your room especially for your birthday, with sme chocolate and macarons, it is very unfortunate that you didn't see it.
