"It seems this hotel hasn't been updated since the 1960s. The carpets were worn and discolored; frankly, we were scared of catching a skin disease if we walked barefoot. With no disposable slippers provided, we wore socks the entire time. A "we don't care" response twice to my message the day before check-in should have been my first clue. "A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!"

"The accommodation was clean and spacious. The decor is quite dark, but probably because of the dark beams. The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. "Lovely Hotel with very helpful staff. Unfortunately we had a night of no sleep. I informed the hotel that I was celebrating my Mother's 80th Birthday. I paid for a deluxe quadruple room for myself my Mother and my Daughter. The room was pleasant but smaller than images on the website and I feel overpriced for the size of room.Also we were kept awake by wedding guests right outside our window making lots of noise and swearing until the early hours!
