"This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

"Beautiful property with every detail well thought out. Very modernized and loved AC in every room (even main living/kitchen area). Grounds well kept, kitchen fully stocked, even a dishwasher! We stayed for a few days and did LaFortuna activities with rental car. Didn't mind 20 minute commute to LaFortuna. Felt safe, friendly neighbors & dogs as we drove by, but this place is tucked back completely private from surrounding neighbors."
