You are in Toscana and you will know it, simply by looking outside your window; vineyards, olive groves on the rolling hillside. My wife and I stayed for six nights using the hotel as our base for visits to Firenze, Siena, Rome, San Gimi, Grieve in Chianti etc. We used the local train station on our visits to Rome, Siena and Firenze, (too far to drive comfortably) which is very convenient. Francesco your host is also the Chef which was reassuring as we ate in each night, excellent Tuscan cuisine. Personally I preferred to white house wine (8 euro) which was locally produced as was the olive oil.
