The room was absolutely gorgeous. We felt like we were in a luxurious Italian villa. Definitely the better part of town to stay in, the old part. The beach was just down the street and it was relatively quiet to the other side of town. Can’t wait to come back great little Hotel!

I loved the property. The bed was great, and the room was big enough for my husband and me. About the only downside was the size of the shower..,a bit small. The breakfast provided was excellent. We sat outside on the deck both mornings we were there. Very peaceful. The staff member was very helpful. He provided a big bowl of fruit each morning along with other food they provide. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the historic town. I would recommend this b&b.

We had fabulous 3 night stay at Locanda Il Maestrale. The location towards the end of the main shopping street in old town Monterosso is excellent as it is quiet and convenient yet close to the shopping district and many excellent restaurants. It is also a short walk to the public beach and beach club in old town, the ferry dock and less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hosts were friendly and helpful and met us upon arrival for an easy check in and showing of the room and property. The daily breakfast included with the room was very good with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cold meats, coffee, tea, juice and other items served in the outdoor covered terrace. Coffee, pastries, fruit and a cold water dispenser were available 24/7. If you are looking for a conveniently located bed and breakfast with friendly hosts, clean and quiet rooms and a healthy delicious breakfast Locanda Il Maestrale comes highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The bedding was fresh and spotless, the room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful, cozy breakfast area. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and throughout the day there were complimentary fresh fruit, snacks, cold drinking water, and coffee available for guests—a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beautiful beach and only a few minutes from the train station, making it easy to explore the area. Even with such a convenient location, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. We spent four wonderful days here and made some of our favorite memories this summer. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Monterosso! Easy walk from the train station. Fantastic breakfast every morning, nice patio to enjoy a drink or breakfast. Wonderful hosts, we felt very welcomed. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we did a lot of hiking while in Cinque Terre. Bed was super comfortable. Should we come back, we will definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect. Location was great and staff were wonderful. Definitely recommend it. Bedroom was above stairs in case anyone has disability would not work for them. Already thinking of when to go back.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Great location, walkable to and from the train station(I would say the best town to stay in if you’re planning on doing all the Cinque Terre), great lounging area for breakfast and drinks, Very helps staff. The shower was small and the location of the faucet was in the center wall so it kept getting bumped into and would accidentally change the temperature. That being said the pressure was excellent. Over all our stay was very nice. I would recommend this hotel if I were asked.
