"We absolutely loved this stay on our trip to Italy. Matteo is the best host I’ve ever encountered. He met us close by the apartment, was extremely friendly, helped us with the luggage and wanted to be sure we had the best trip ever. Apartment cold, bed uncomfortable, two extra fees plus local tax, so 3 extra fees, I knew about 2…. Impossible to get downstairs all the time for smoking…very long walk from station. "My stay here in Monterosso was lovely. Please be warned, there are about 100 stairs or so straight up, leading to the room. I wouldn’t recommend if you are not able to climb a lot of stairs. But the location was perfect, a little off the beaten path, so super quiet and serene. Except there are times when you can hear the people above you from the bedroom walking or pushing in/out chairs.
