Host not communicative, we had an issue with the back door not being able to be locked, hot tub would not get hot (just warm), upstairs heating vs AC distribution was very strange (upstairs bedrooms were cold while the upstairs hallway was uncomfortably warm), poor water pressure and loose fixtures in the bathrooms.

Great house! Overall very spacious and new with premium features and finishes throughout.We got a lot of use out of the beautiful kitchen and had plenty of space for people around the dining table for our big family meals. The views out of the windows were gorgeous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very large and comfortable. The bunk beds were the sturdiest we had ever seen. The sauna was a huge hit. Also, we came a week after a huge blizzard and were able to drive in without real issues—the last road was slushier but the driveway was totally pristine.Some notes: we stayed in mid-February and found the basement was too cold to spend time in unless we were actively playing pool in sweaters, and some of the bedrooms were colder than others. Water pressure could also have been higher in some bathrooms. We were disappointed that the hot tub never came up to a usable temperature. No fault of anybody's, but a neighborhood dog did go to the bathroom on the driveway, which wasn't ideal. The doggo also paid us many surprise visits by peeking in through the front door and rear windows.

Great stay!

The house was exactly as advertised. The surroundings were beautiful, the house was clean and seemed quite new. Everything worked great, and we were all surprised with how quickly the sauna heated up. If we are back in the area we definitely would stay here again.

Great time for a family get together

The house was very beautiful and relaxing, and my family had a great time getting together. The house matched the pictures and was even nicer in person. There was plenty of room for three couples and three children to hang out together as well as to have their own space. The host was very thoughtful about leaving instructions and very responsive to our few questions. They made everything easy! Would definitely rent this house again and from AvantStay again.

Nice getaway!

This home is located right on the water and is very well equiped. Basic equipment is provided and the home is very clean. With a few improvements this place would be 5 stars but a whole house manual is needed at the home with clear instructions and photos to help find your way around all the many nuances at the property. Everything worked as it should after a lot of frustration trying to figure out all the light switches, remotes, instructions

It wasn’t as nice as we expected

Overall very nice, but for the price and pictures expected the following: non stick pans need replacing, toilet paper holder needs re attachment to wall, cooking supplies sparse, luggage racks needed in each bedroom, door to outdoor screen room missing and bird flew in and could not get out, hand shower holder coming off the wall, tub filler too long and broken, towel holder loose, no trash cans outside as in instructions,lightbulb for ping pong area out, could not figure out TVs despite instructions, more and better pool cues and ping pong paddles, pool chalk needed, needs steps to get into hot tub—very unsafe, bedrooms have no dressers, a few flimsy hangers in closet, no where to unpack stuff, treacherous to walk down to dock, no mention of Jack and Jill bathroom, we expected each of us to have a full bathroom and did not realize the fourth full bathroom on the bottom floor away from all the bedrooms, could not get lights or music to work in hot tub, furniture in living room not comfortable, chair in living room seems unsafe, door to hot tub area missing. Best parts-lay out, size, views, neighborhood, Mia—the friendly old dog who came to visit us from the neighbors, bed comfort, AC, pool table

Family Get-away

This gorgeous home was a lovely setting for a multi-generational family get away. The house was more beautiful than the pictures, and the finishings were beautiful down to the last detail. The beds were extremely comfortable, there were plenty of linens, etc. The location was a little hard to navigate to; the road for the last mile isn't paved and the driveway is steep and curvy. The location was conveniently close to a few towns and ski mountains. Members of our group especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The property manager was responsive to all of our inquiries. One hiccup was that the oven did not work during our stay and it wasn't fixed while we were there. We made due without it, but it was a strange issue given how beautiful and expensive the house looks and feels. We look forward to more visits in the future.

Great sibling weekend!!

The house was just beautiful even though getting there was a bit tricky in the winter!! There are two ways to access the property, sometimes Google is not your friend!! The special touches were definitely the hot tub and sauna. The beds and pillows were wonderful with top end linens. The only problem we encountered was a relatively small hot water tank, no more than 2-3 people could get in a hot shower without waiting for the tank to fill up again. Would love to visit in the summer to tske advantage of the beautiful lake!!
