We love this hotel! This was our second time to stay here and it didn't disappoint. Easy walk to the beach, bay, Cannery Row shops and restaurants and the other direction are the Sea Lions, Fisherman's Wharf shops and restaurants. Great walking and biking access on the recreational trail that runs right next to the hotel. Both times we've visited we opted for the king room, with bay view and fireplace. Super clean and nice staff!

Excellent location for this affordable inn, the place is on the bike path, the Monterrey Bay aquarium and the Fisherman’s Warf a short, easy, and beautiful walk away. Rooms are spacious and clean although a bit smelly. Reception is basic. Will definitely return as you cannot beat the location of the Inn.

great location close to the water and Cannery Row. Rather noisy road that goes past the hotel is audible all night. Room was pretty small and basic and I thought there was a bit of a musty smell, probably a result of being so close to the water and fog, etc. But overall an affordable place in a great location.

The room was decent. Our major problem with it was that the air conditioner fan quit working much midway through our first night so the room got stuffy by the end of our second night.

Just back from Monterey, and we're already longing to return! The Cannery Row Inn was perfect—comfy rooms, walking distance to everything, and steps from the beach. Check-in was smooth, and we appreciated the spacious, clean rooms with amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. On-site parking was a boon for my large SUV. The room's fireplace warmed us on a chilly night, a pleasant surprise. The hotel's vibrant location means some noise, but the ocean views from the balcony were worth it. Steps from the beach, we enjoyed breathtaking sunrises. The presence of daily housekeeping was a welcome touch. Despite its busy setting, the patio offered a cozy retreat. The inn champions Monterey's commitment to reducing single-use plastics, a move we supported with our canteens. While the unique bowl-type sink in our rooms were slightly inconvenient, it didn't detract from our overall fantastic experience. We're eager to visit again. Happy travels!

The staff were friendly, the room was clean. This Inn is motel style. Pros: Location, location, location. This Inn is next to a path that leads to the wharf with restaurants and whale watching opportunities to the right. The immediate vicinity is the north side of cannery row. To the left is the rest of cannery row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Everything is within walking distance.Water pressure and temperature was wonderful. Beds were soft and comfortable. Cons: Walls are pretty thin. We could hear the upstairs room walking around and running water. We could also hear vehicles in the garage directly below us. Also, the shower head was really low and we had to bend down (I'm 5'8'' and my husband 5'10"). Would stay here again.

Good location, easy walk to Cannery Row. Plenty of parking. It was quiet at night. Front desk staff was nice.It needs some updating and more cleaning. My newphew dropped something on the floor and when I got down to get it there were hairties and a crumpled tissue under the night stand. Gross.

We were very happy with our stay. Staff was friendly, our room was clean and it was walking distance to a lot of things. The beach is just a few minutes walk as well. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I love the location of the Inn and the staff is great. I notice they are redoing all the rooms. Our room was clean and neat, but the walls were empty and there were only overhead lights, no bedside lamps or soft lighting. Amenities like these would make it feel warmer. Were in the room next to the laundry. Could hear the dryer timers doing off and there were often laundry carts in the hallway. Still had a great time but probably wouldn't stay in that room next time.

It is super close to walk to the beach, we are talking right across the street for beach access! Property is older and has some age, but for the access to the beach and free parking you can not beat the price

Location was good. The hotel lobby was tiny but there was a courtyard area to sit outside. The room was very clean and everything worked: tv, fireplace, frig. The room was a good size. The bathroom was tiny and the bathroom vanity was very small. The staff? Helpful and polite. Parking was convenient and covered.

The bed we had at this property was the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. I’m not picky on beds and can sleep on nearly any bed…. Not this one! The springs were digging in no matter where I slept in the bed. We stayed in a King Deluxe room, it was AWFUL! Run or else you’ll have a backache for the next couple of days

Located in a great area, easy to walk to the main attractions in town. The room was big and spacious but lacking in a lot of things. There was only 1 lamp on one side of the bed and it had no lampshade. The other side of the bed had no lamp at all. There were no decorations or paintings on the walls, the room felt bare. The bathroom was really nice. But the room itself was lackluster.
