We had the privilege of staying at Agriturismo Ardene for two weeks in May and loved it! The first week we were 11 and the second week 13 people. Benedetta, Daniella, Giovanni, and the rest of the staff took super care of us. They cooked two meals for us each week and hosted a cooking class for us. All of it outstanding! The property sits below Montepulciano and there is a gorgeous view of the old town from the lawn. The rooms are all nice and have ensuite facilities. The kitchen and dinning area are also very nice and we cooked our own breakfasts and an evening meal. All of our guests enjoyed it very much and complimented us on finding such a nice place to stay. We even used the pool some the second weeks temps got a little warmer!

We spent one week at Villa Ardene to celebrate our wedding. The place is breathtaking - definitely even more beautiful than the photos let on! The wedding dinner that Benedetta and her colleagues provided was just delicious! We highly recommend this place.

Ready to move here!

Villa Ardene in Montepulchiano was a dream. The rooms beautiful, the flowers gorgeous, food delicious, staff friendly, area perfect. I would go back tomorrow if I could. What a wonderful family experience in such a lovely setting.

We had the most amazing time staying at Villa Ardene with 14 of our closest family members! The location was very important to us as it is a very short drive (or uphill walk) into the lovely town of Montepulciano. Bendetta hosted a wonderful Rehersal Dinner for 30 people & it was the best food we had in Tuscany! The pool was amazing with a beautiful view of town. We would reccomend 100x over! THANK YOU!

We had the most amazing time staying at Villa Ardene with 14 of our closest family members! The location was very important to us as it is a very short drive (or uphill walk) into the lovely town of Montepulciano. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ardene. The staff were wonderful the location superb.We suggest you have them cook at least one dinner for you. Great!. The villa was a little hard to find but once there was amazingly close to Montpulciano, a wonderful hillside town. The location was close enough to a train station to get to Florence for the day. Close to other unique towns. Only comment I have is that we used up the last week before high season and the grass was not mowed until the Thursday of our stay. It just felt like they were preparing for the big money people. There were 8 of us in the group who eventually went there so we had more rooms than we needed but for 10-14 it would have been just right! There is a little grocery store a short distance from the villa that provided all the basics we needed and plenty of shops for the rest.

If there was a rating higher than "excellent" that is what we would pick. We had a group of 14 at Villa Ardene the end of June and first of July and our stay was simply fabulous. The property is even nicer than pictured and the staff are helpful, wonderful, and responsive. Every detail of our stay was attended to beautifully. We've only been home a few days and I miss the pool, I miss the scenery, I miss the rooster in the morning, I miss Bennedicta, I miss my lovely room, I miss everything about Villa Ardene. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful place. You won't be sorry.

If there was a rating higher than "excellent" that is what we would pick. We had a group of 14 at Villa Ardene the end of June and first of July and our stay was simply fabulous. The property is even nicer than pictured and the staff are helpful, wonderful, and responsive. Every detail of our stay was attended to beautifully. We've only been home a few days and I miss the pool, I miss the scenery, I miss the rooster in the morning, I miss Bennedicta, I miss my lovely room, I miss everything about Villa Ardene. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful place. You won't be sorry.

What a wonderful spot to spend 5 days in Tuscany! Our extended family of 13 rented the entire villa. The villa is lovely, the pool and house has a wonderful view of the countryside and the hilltop town on Montepulciano. The owners gave the children (age 11 to 20, not really a child) a few tours of the farm and brought us fresh produce (zucchini, lettuce, onion) one day that we used for an amazing lunch of local cheese, bread and wine in their screened dining room. The first evening and morning we had our dinner and breakfast cooked for us. We all agreed the dinner, a multi course feast, was one of the best meals we had during our 10 day visit to Italy! The garden, nicely labeled, was lovely. We visited Sienna, Pienza, Arezzo, Cortona and a number of other villages from the villa. If I had to give one regret, it would be it is just a bit too far south to comfortably visit Florence, Lucca, etc. Also, one small basement room was a bit damp due to a small leak. [Owner reply: The leak was fixed immediately and the problem was resolved]
