First of all - the pictures do not do this place justice. It is breathtaking! I tried, but could not capture the beauty of the space in a photograph.We were traveling with our family after our wedding in Florence and wanted a quiet place after the city to celebrate and see more of Italy. Boy did they deliver! From special touches to delicous food it was a trip to remember.Overall, our entire stay was amazing. From the minute we were welcomed in it was clear that this was going to be a visit worth writing home about. I have never experienced such genuine hospitality.Additionally, from the time we booked until we arrived the communication was wonderful. We were able to plan a relaxing stay with plenty of food, activities, and leisure time.I cannot say enough about how fantastic this experience was and I can't wait to come back!

Perfect place and perfect host

We had a pleasure of staying there for a week in late April. It was amazing. The view from the villa is astonishing, the grounds are well kept, the house itself is in perfect condition and well equipped. And, of course, the pool - so enjoyable after a day of sightseeing.Special thanks to Cecilia - our wonderful host. She made sure we had no issues whatsoever.We'll be back!

Best Place to stay in Tuscany!

A beautiful, warm villa in the heart of Tuscany. Four couples stayed and there was ample room to join together to eat and drink wine, as well as many places to relax and get solitude. Cecilia is a host that pays attention to all details and is readily accessible. We also had dinner at the house with a private chef that was amazing. I hope to visit again someday!

Outstanding

Everything about the Villa is amazing. The views exceed expectations and pictures. Cecilia, the owner, is such a lovely, charming and helpful person. Each bedroom is spacious in their pen way. The Bathrooms vary in size. Some are more spacious but each have a shower, toilet and bide’. As long as your group doesn’t have very tall or large people only there will be plenty of choices. The kitchen is fully equipped. Dining room, living room and wood burning fireplace are fantastic. The heated pool is about 79degrees. If you have sunnier days at least to about 70, ambitious swimmers will enjoy swimming. The pool chairs and view around the pool are so relaxing even if you’re not inclined to enter in the pool. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets everywhere. I truly hope to go back in a few years with other good friends or family too.

Entspannung, Ruhe, Luxus

Wir wurden sehr warmherzig von der Gastgeberin Cecilia in diesem wundervollen Haus empfangen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Ruhe und die Idylle, den wunderschönen Pool und den unglaubliche Ausblick. Die Erholung zwischen den Sonnenbädern im kühlen Haus, das für Jeden einen Platz zum Zurückziehen bietet. Es ist alles sehr großzügig und geräumig - die Einrichtung sehr hochwertig. Wenn es überhaupt eine Mini-Kritik gibt, dann dass die Ausstattung der Küche nicht ganz, dem ansonsten sehr hohen Anspruch des Hauses in Punkto Wertigkeit, entspricht. Viele Gäste nutzen bestimmt den wunderbaren Kochservice und dann ist dieser Punkt irrelevant. Wir wollten lieber ganz für uns sein und haben daher selber gekocht. Das Haus ist so schön, dass man sich schon fast aufraffen muss, mal einen Ausflug zu machen. Diese lohnen sich aber sehr - die Orte drum herum sind wunderschön und geschichtsträchtig. Nicht zu vergessen ist das Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten - es ist ein Genuss.

Dream Villa!

Our stay at the villa was the icing on the cake after a month long vacation in Italy and Mediterranean cruise. Cecilia was a gracious host and we feel we have made a new friend. We enjoyed the Villa package she put together for us consisting of a wine tour, cooking class, breakfasts and chef dinners. We highly recommend you take advantage of this! The setting was spectacular with wonderful views of the vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills of Tuscany. We rented a van for the 6 of us and drove to nearby towns of Montepulciano, Orvieto, Assis and Cortona. All within an hour or so drive. When initially looking into to a Tuscany villa, there were plenty to choose from. We made the right choice and our stay was 5 star and the highlight of our vacation!

An Enchanting Escape

We had an incredible experience at La Valiana. The vistas from the villa are nothing short of spectacular - rolling Tuscan hills and surrounded by vineyards were a true feast for the eyes. The quality of the amenities were exceptional making it a home away from home. The attention to detail and comfort made our stay truly luxurious. The warm welcome, helpful tips, responsiveness and attentiveness collectively describe the stellar treatment provided by Cecilia. The villa is a unique gem in a truly enchanting setting.

Amazing Villa and wonderful host

Villa Valiana is 15 minutes from Cortona and you can easily access many other towns/cities by car. It is a stunning villa inside and out. Breathtaking Views of vineyards and Montepulciano, and a great pool... Cecilia was delightful and always helpful. Our 30th wedding anniversary dinner in the vineyards was fantastic, and shared with our friends. Cecilia and family created a delicious meal paired with lovely wines. Our group of 7 were all delighted by this experience- and sad to go. Don't miss the Villa Valiana!

Incredible sat at Ville VALIANA

All I can say about Villa VALIANA is OUTSTANDING. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. The attention to the detail can only be matched by a five star hotel. I would rate the ville 10 out of 10 if not for Cecilia, the Villa owner. Her warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable and my final rating for villa VALIANA is 11/ 10! We would certainly be back. 😀

Loved our stay with Cecelia!

The Villa was even more beautiful than the pictures and beautifully clean and well kept. The pool and grounds were stunning and the location was gorgeous and central to several of the hill towns. The best part of the stay was out hostess, Cecelia! She was so charming and welcoming, very helpful with whatever we needed and very knowledgeable about the area, food and wines. She is absolutely adorable! We took advantage of the in house chef and the cooking lessons as well as food and wine stocking service which made our whole trip easy, relaxing and fun. Could not recommend this place enough.

Outstanding stay in wine country

From arriving to leaving the vacation was 10 stars. The house it stunning and a very inviting place to spend time with 4 girlfriends. The grounds are impeccable kept and beautiful views from every angle. Nice location but car for sure needed to get around the beautiful countryside. And Cecilia, well she is just the sweetest host and always available for any questions and guidance on what to do and where to go. Hope to one day get back to her beautiful villa. Absolutely wonderful!

We loved the house and the location. Very easy drive to local towns ( Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano). and beautiful vineyards (Borgo Tre Rose , avignonesi winery). The view from the house and the sunsets are spectacular. I can not say enough about Cecilia! We done many VRBO’s but by far she is the best and I must say her dad was so kind to bring us firewood every morning❤️. The house was everything promised and more. We would rent here again! Villa holiday

Lovely property in a great location for easy access to local towns such as Montepulciano, and Cortona (15-20 minutes away). Close to other Tuscan and Umbrian towns (e.g. Arezzo, Perugia, Todi) if you wanted to venture a little further afield. Great bedrooms and bathrooms, for 6-8 people. Large lounge. Smallish kitchen - we cooked most evenings and got used to where things were. Wonderful pool and gardens Lovely host . Many thanks to Cecilia.

Heaven in Tuscany!

Where do I begin. La Valiana exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It was even more beautiful than the photos shown on the website. The country side surrounding the villa was breathtaking. The time spent around the pool was so memorable because of the view. The property grounds are beautifully maintained. The interior is authentic Tuscan inspired. Last but not least, Cecilia provided a level of hospitality not often found. We highly recommend the services offered by her and her family. We look forward to our next visit to La Valiana, may it be sooner than later. Arrivederci

Best of the best

I have done alot of travelling and stayed a wide variety of locations and I must admit that this is the best combination of location, residence and hospitality of the Host (Cecilia). I could go on and on about the views (which are better than even expected), the central location for the variety of walled cities in tuscany, and the unparalled warmth and generosity of the host, Cecilia. You will not be disappointed.

Unforgettable Experience!

Villa La Valiana was all we had hoped it would be and more! It was exactly like the pictures online and immaculately clean! Cecilia was the most gracious host and couldn’t do enough to welcome us and to assist with all of our questions/requests. She went above and beyond to provide our stay as enjoyable as possible! The cooking class with her mom was a highlight of our stay. The villa is perfectly located in a quiet, safe and beautiful location with spectacular views in all directions. It is a short distance to many of the towns of interest! The grounds of the villa are beautifully maintained and the pool is heated. I can’t say enough about this villa and the host, Cecilia! It was a vacation to remember! We are hoping to return next year!

Beautiful place

This is a very nice place to stay and use as a base in central Tuscany. It is very nicely furnished and the living spaces are large and beautiful. The owner is very helpful and readily available for any issue. Read the fine print- they charge for electricity used for heat or air- conditioning by the hour. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would return again.

La Valiana - a stunning place

Dear Cecilia, thank you so much for a really outstanding week at your La Valiana. Everything was just perfect: the villa is spacious, with beautiful furniture, fully equipped kitchen etc. But the real sensation is the garden and the fantastic views over the tuscan landsape. The dinner with Chef Luca in the evening sun was amazing. Of course we also enjoyed the heated pool! In just one sentence: a perfect stay in a sensationel house with lovely hosts.

Absolutely wonderful. Cecilia, the owner, was charming, really helpful and just perfect. There were no problems at all. The Villa is so comfortable with a lovely pool with sympathetic furnishings and a lovely terrace opening on to a pretty garden with the pool beyond. Easterly views of Lake Trasimeno and westerly ones of the entire valley with the hill top town of Montepulciano in the distance. A real "find".
