This historic property, located in the hills of Montemurlo Alto, sits directly on the Via delle Rocche, a historic road. The house dates back to the 15th through 17th centuries. A meticulous renovation completed in 2018 preserved the original stone walls and reinforced them with a modern steel framework.



At the heart of the house is a spacious room with a double-height ceiling. A modern staircase and a suspended glass walkway let you admire the full height of the stone wall. The owners have only partially converted the upper floor, so you can enjoy the room’s unique character from both levels.



The old cobblestone courtyard in front of the house welcomes you and offers a breathtaking view of the valley. The owners have carefully landscaped and maintained the outdoor spaces. The main facade faces the sun to capture natural light throughout the day.



From the house itself, you can go hiking or cycling in the rolling countryside, which is very popular with walkers. The centre of Montemurlo, with all its shops, is just a few kilometres away. The Prato Ovest motorway exit is about a 15-minute drive away; from there, you can reach many Tuscan tourist destinations.
