Our stay at Shimmering Waters was very pleasant. The house was clean, functional, and featured a lovely outdoor space where we could relax. A special mention goes to Chef Derlisha, who was attentive and meticulous, preparing excellent breakfasts and dinners for us. We also enjoyed professional massages with Nakesha. Tessenie helped us with cleaning and laundry. Ralph, your team is exceptional!!

The property is clean and well kept. The rooms are comfortable, each has its own bathroom. The staff was exceptional! Communications were timely and supportive. The chef made breakfast everyday and we hired her to make a few local meals for us, which were delicious, my kids are crazy for ox tail. We hired a driver while we were there and he was exceptional as well. Got us where we wanted to go and was always available, and helped us to find anything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome

We stayed seven days at the Shimmering waters at the Lagoons it was exactly as pictured the views were awesome enjoying the beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom balcony. The staff was attentive &the food was delicious. We loved the pool.& the floating breakfast. The only downside was we weren't able to wash our own clothes although the staff did take care of it for us. Would definitely stay again when visiting Jamaica

Lovely stay with the best host and chef

Beautiful location! We loved our stay at the shimmering watas and were truly sad to leave this house. Pool was perfect and the housekeeping staff left it spotless for when we arrived. Host was super attentive and communicative pre-arrival. Best part was the Chef who cooked the best meals we had during the trip for our group of three couples. They went above and beyond on all our requests and made our trip all the more memorable. Thank you!

5-Star Stay at Shimmering Waters – A Slice of Paradise in Jamaica!

Shimmering Waters was absolutely beautiful, and our stay was unforgettable. Mr. Ralph was a top-tier host attentive, responsive, and kind. Any time I called, he called back right away. He and his staff made sure we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left.The floating breakfast each morning was a lovely touch and such a unique experience. We especially enjoyed spending time with Ms. Amera and Ms. Derlisha. Now let me tell you baby, Ms. Derlisha throws down in the kitchen! She was so accommodating and willing to cook whatever we wanted. Her fried chicken was cooked to golden brown perfection, and those pancakes? Fluffy like clouds! She even made us some curry chicken one day for lunch and it was beyond delicious.The cleaning staff was also great polite, thorough, and consistent. For full transparency, don’t leave anything sweet out on the counters because it might attract ants (this is tropical Jamaica, after all), but as soon as we noticed it, Mr. Ralph and his team addressed it right away.He also kept the pool crystal clear, and he even took the time to clean the air filters for me since I suffer from allergies. Baby, after that cleanse, the air was pumping and I could breathe with no issues at all!If I had to suggest anything, it would be to add a little more lighting in the rooms but honestly, that’s minor compared to the amazing service and overall experience.Mr. Ralph is exceptional at what he does, and I would absolutely stay here again

We had an amazing stay at Shimmering Waters in Montego Bay. The location is perfect—just 10 minutes from the airport, but tucked inside a quiet, safe, gated community. The home is spacious with plenty of room for adults and kids to relax, but the real highlight was the outdoor area and pool, where we spent most of our time.Mr. Ralph, the owner, was fantastic—super responsive, helpful before and during the trip, and clearly cares about his guests having a great experience. Our driver and guide for the week, Mr. Blake, was equally amazing—knowledgeable, laid-back, punctual, and genuinely kind. He gave us great recommendations but also adapted to our plans. A true pro.We loved our beach day at Doctor’s Cave (great chairs, drinks, and food), had an awesome fishing/snorkeling trip with the Just Hook It crew, and made a market stop to grab red snapper and prawns—Chef Derlisha turned them into a fantastic dinner. We also had incredible meals at Peppa’s, Marguerites, and The Sugar Mill.We’ve been to other parts of Jamaica, but this experience stood out. Beautiful home, great people, and unforgettable memories. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Mr Ralph was an amazing host! Our flight got canceled due to the Heathrow chaos and he was so patient and kind, making sure we could reschedule. The villa is absolutely stunning and the staff made our trip unforgettable.The chefs spoiled us with incredible Jamaican food, and they went all out for my mum’s birthday….decorations, a floating breakfast, the works! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

New Year’s Paradise

Shimmering Waters is exactly as advertised and the perfect relaxing getaway for my family to ring in the New Year. We loved the daily breakfasts prepared by Miss Amera the cook and had her come back for dinner to cook the red snapper we caught on our fishing trip! Sir Baker was a great driver and tour guide. He arranged fun excursions and got us everywhere safely.The star our of trip was really the house. We enjoyed spending quality time together as a family and quiet evenings in. There is even a great little gym across the street with beautiful water views that my husband and two teen boys liked going to for workouts. The sunrises are so beautiful and best enjoyed with coffee on the primary bedroom balcony. We were also treated to some NYE fireworks that could be viewed from balcony. The pool is not heated but made for a refreshing dip. The local beaches had beautiful white sand and warmer crystal blue water. The host Mr. Ralph was a great communicator and available to answer any questions from booking to checkout. 10/10 would recommend this house!

Unforgettable Stay in Paradise !

Our stay in Jamaica was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Miss Nisha with warm hospitality and the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The property was immaculate, offering breathtaking views of the lush landscape and sparkling Caribbean waters. The accommodations were exactly as described (if not better!)—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with authentic Jamaican touches. Every amenity we could have asked for was thoughtfully provided, from a well-equipped kitchen to plush linens and beach essentials. The outdoor space was a true highlight, featuring a private pool, a cozy patio for morning breakfast and Dinner by Amera , that made us never want to leave. Our tour guide Mr. Baker went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering excellent recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and hidden gems we’d have never found on our own. They even arranged a private chef for one evening—an unforgettable experience filled with fresh, local flavors. The location was ideal—just a short drive from stunning beaches, vibrant markets, and cultural sites. Yet, the property itself was so peaceful and secluded that it felt like our own little slice of paradise. We left feeling rejuvenated, grateful, and already planning our return. Stay at Shimmering Waters

We stayed at Shimmering Waters for four nights at the end of October. We were picked up in Kingston by Bakerdon and driven up to Montego Bay (via Dunn’s River). Cannot stress enough how warm a welcome we received from Baker and how helpful he was throughout our stay. Any day trips we wanted to take, Baker was happy to guide and oblige. The house is absolutely beautiful, everything worked and we wanted for nothing. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Any queries we had were instantly responded to by the owner Ralph, who was fantastic. A delicious breakfast was prepared daily by Chef Royal. There was another chef available for lunch and dinner if we had needed. Nisha, our housekeeper kept the house spotless and had our washing cleaned, dried and folded in a flash! We absolutely loved it and would recommend it highly to anyone. A fantastic stay in a beautiful country full of amazing people. One Love!

Beautiful house and view!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful house with stunning views and a gorgeous pool. From the moment we booked, Ralph, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly. He ensured everything was perfect for our stay, both before and during our trip. Our driver, Sir Baker, was equally amazing. He was always on time, extremely courteous, and went out of his way to make our transportation smooth and stress-free. The chef, Miguel, prepared delicious meals that we thoroughly enjoyed, adding a special touch to our holiday experience. The cleaning staff also did an excellent job, maintaining the house in pristine condition throughout our stay. Overall, me and my family had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

"Fantastic stay in Montego Bay! The villa was beautifully appointed with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The location was perfect for exploring nearby beaches and attractions. 10s across the board!

I have done a few villas in Jamaica and they never disappoint. My family really enjoy their stay at this specific facility. Miguel was our chef.... he was simply amazing! His personality, his interactions, and most of all his food were everything that I would have expected it to be. I had an incident that Ralph took care of without hesitation. If there wasn't so many places for me to stay in Jamaica, I would definitely come back to this house again! We even got massages by the recommended masseuse for this villa.

Royal Hospitality!!

We were a family of 5 traveling to Jamaica for the first time. We were very hesitant with the travel warnings and especially because we were with our 2 beautiful daughters. Upon arrival at the airport we met Sir Baker! He is the most charismatic person we have ever met! He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to restaurants, excursions, museums, and the history of Jamaica. No matter where we went on the island "EVERYONE" knew Sir Baker! It was like having your own personal security guard. We felt so safe with him that our daughters got to enjoy some of the nightlife on their own. By the time we left our daughters cried when he said goodbye. Sir Baker definitely made our trip the best ever! The property was so meticulously maintained inside and out. The pictures are exactly as advertised and bigger in person. Our daughters loved the home especially because everyone could have their own space to hang out from the family room with games, to the tennis courts. Mom and dad enjoyed quite tv time in our own master suite with separate sitting room and a beautiful balcony to watch spectacular sunsets! The host- Mr Ralph was very attentive and so responsive no matter what time. He was welcoming and made us feel so special. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday and Mr Ralph had the house decorated with balloons and a cake, He is super thoughtful. Exceptional hospitality! Miss Mitchelle, and Miss Corieta were also amazing, always made sure we had clean towels and super kind.

The Most Amazing Experience, Gratitude!!!!

I cannot express how much fun I had visiting the island of Jamaica for the first time. There was no better way to celebrate my birthday, and I owe that to the Shimmering Waters team. Prior to booking the home, Mr. Ralph was prompt to answer questions. I saw from his response I was in good hands and booked immediately with ONLY four days until arrival. Once I booked, Mr. Ralph shared all relevant travel and hospitality information with me. He made sure I was aware of the C5 process, airport tips, and suggested points of contact for listed house amenities. Then here comes Mr. Baker (driver and tour guide). He connected with me right away to see if I was interested in his services (shuttle from airport, tours, etc.). I am SSSOOOOO happy I used Mr. Baker. He was absolutely the plug for the trip. He made EVERYTHING happen. *Bonus is he is punctual and professional! The housekeeping staff were so responsive and professional. Ms. Dee and Ms. Sandra are amazing. The house was so well kept. They went through a brief orientation during check in and made us feel right at home. Everyone was able to have laundry done before we departed, a plus. Lastly, I would just like to express my gratitude to this amazing team. The extra touches that were not expected made this experience even more special. I entered the home, I came in to a large “Happy Birthday (with name)”banner with a balloon arch! On my birthday night, I came in & Ms. Sandra was there with a surpirse birthday cake. 4eva fam!

A great stay

We had a great stay at Shimmering Waters. We rented it to be close to a friend who lives in the Lagoons and it was perfect for our needs. The view is unbeatable
