Awesome Place, Great Staff, and Excellent Experience

The stay was comfortable from the beginning. We covered the ground rules and were invited to enjoy the space as if it were our own. The staff was available, knowledgeable, and willing to alway help. We couldn't have asked for a better place.

My family and I had the BEST time at the Villa Maria. The staff was so attentive and kind. Chef Thomas cooked a delicious welcome dinner and consulted with us before we even arrived to find out our kids’ preferences! The butler, driver, and property manager are all such wonderful people. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (transportation, groceries, excursions). My kids didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back!

Vila is the 💎 Gem

Gorgeous property and wonderful people! We were cared for beyond belief by Rowan, Shevy and crew. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and far prefer it to the more expensive and less personalized Sandals nearby.

Authentic Experience

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Jamaica along with 4 other ladies. We had an absolute ball. QThe home was beautiful and the backyard was an oasIs. The meals prepared by Chef Thomas were delicious. The home is nestled in a close knit fishing community and everyone was so kind. Rowan, Shelly, Susie, Marco, and Mr. Headly we're so gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

Great Vacation

Had an excellent time at Villa Maria. Rowan is second to none. Marco is great. Mr Headly was awesome as a driver. You cant swim at the property…which we were well aware of, but, if you bring good watershoes, you can walk out past the reef and there is some excellent snorkelling out there!

Villa Maria was truly like returning home. The staff was like family. The Villa was exceptional. Food was delicious. Being from Jamaica the Villa was the perfect choice. Communication prior to arriving was great! Would absolutely recommend!!!!!

Third Time's A Charm

On our third visit to Villa Maria we took our adult kids and our grandkids ages 11 and 7. We all had a ball. We were met at the airport by Rowan who is like family now. The staff is amazing, property clean and safe and the ocean as blue as I remember. They kids didn't want to leave and we're asking when we could come back.

Overall it was very nice.

Great place, great staff..just some hidden fees that could’ve been communicated better. For example the price list for the shuttle should have been given upfront. Other than that it was an overall beautiful stay.

A weekend in paradise.

Rowan and the entire staff at Villa Maria made our weekend in Jamaica one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences ever. Keep a close eye on " Schevy" we may want to steal her . Wonderful family vacation!

The property is beautiful, very clean and the staff are awesome! We wanted to brin Chevy, Shelly and Chef home with us! One love! My granddaughter wanted to stay forever. She made sand castles on the beach and lived in the pool. Marco kept the grounds very clean and the pool. The owner was so easy to communicate with and always responded to ALL my questions promptly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you all for everything ♥️

Didn't want to leave

We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. It was exactly like the pictures. The property was immaculate. The staff was awesome, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They really thought of everything with this property. Also Chef Fishbones was amazing! All of the food was delicious. The only thing we would say is notify the guests before traveling about the cash needed to enjoy the island. We mostly had credit cards and weren't prepared for this aspect.

Gratitude Trip

This was our second trip to Villa Maria. It has been a rough year for our families so we invited our supportive Village on a mini vacation to rest and relax at Villa Maria. Villa Maria has made several upgrades since our last trip. They are listening to guests comments and suggestions. Book Chef Fishbones. He's more than amazing. Our friends were eating food they don't normally eat because it was so appetizing. Massages on the beach were amazing and our Butler made the most amazing poolside drinks. We will be back again!!!

Home away from home

This house is amazing and I will book again. Everything showed is as pictured. The service and food was amazing. Shelly was amazing and very kind and sweet. Chef bonefish has all of us spoiled with such great authentic Jamaica food The only thing we did not like was the fact that we felt that we didn't have complete privacy meaning that the owner/workers was there everyday most of the day until late afternoon. My opinion when you rent a house you see the owner/workers when you check in and maybe when you check out, unless you call because you have an issue. The property is treated more like an resort so you will see someone everyday.other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Very Secure & Safe Beachside Villa, near Airport

This property is very nice, staff is very attentive. If I had to complain it would be that this property deserves an upgrade on outdoor furnishings. The outdated furniture does nothing for this property. The AMBIANCE is simply amazing. You have everything you need at this house. The views of the ocean is very serene and relaxing and I like how its next to fisherman. Chef Fishbone is very good but I wish he would resolve to soul food of Jamaica in hindsight he has to appeal to the others that frequent more often than we do. If you give him a time, that is what time the food will be ready, no questions asked.

Villa maria

We had a great time at villa maria. The property is beautiful and the staff, especially Shevy and chef Eddie, were wonderful. I highly recommend booking Eddie for at least a couple of meals. The only other meal we had that was as good as his was in negril. Some things did not work in the villa; the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, the tv outside, and the coffee pot in the kitchen. We were a little disappointed that although it is on the beach the water was too shallow to swim in. We ended up going to Negril to finally enjoy the ocean. The villa is no where near the high end resorts. It’s close to the airport in a run down neighborhood. If that bothers you, I would suggest you book closer to Rose Hall in the high end district.

10 yr anniversary getaway w/ family

Have you ever been catfished by the pictures you see of a property? And when you get there it's not what you thought? That's definitely not the case here. Everything from the layout, the cleanliness, attention to detail, the staff, and of course the legendary Chef Fishbones was as advertised! The house is extremely spacious and accommodating. We didn't expect to have daily staff who were attentive to anything we needed. Safety was truly a priority and we had zero concerns or issues! We were so happy one of our family members is already looking into booking the property again. Thanks for a memorable anniversary! Respect!
