I went on a girls trip to the Hilton Rose Hotel. The hotel lobby and the scenery was beautiful, the staff was friendly and polite. However, when we made it to our room we were extremely disappointed. The room was very small and extremely outdated. We couldn’t believe it especially since the rest of the hotel looked so modern. Upon our check in, we were told there would be a $200 hold on our credit card but it would be returned in 7-10 business days after we checked out. It has now been exactly a month and one week since we left this hotel and I have not received my money back. I’ve called numerous times and was transferred to the accounting department where no one answered. I called day after day and no answer. Til this day no one has been able to help me and my money has not been returned. I went into this trip wanting to love it and for the most part I left with great memories, but now this hotel has left a sour taste in my mouth with their lack of communication and professionalism.

Todo el personal muy amable, la comida buena, las áreas comunes y el servicio en general excelente. Pero el check in estuvo muy demorado, tardaron en entregarme la habitación, luego de más de 2 horas y de quejarme fue que me la entregaron, supuestamente no habían habitaciones con cama King disponibles. Por todo lo demás, estuve muy complacida.

Although the staff were great the front desk was not effective. The property itself needs a lot of improvement starting with the leaky ceilings through out. I first entered my room which was freezing cold, even turning the heat my room never got warm. Until turning the air completely off and opening the patio door. Which having that open was a nuisance do to the view I had which was facing the resort/pool/garage or equipment shed. I informed the front desk about the temperature in the room and nothing was done same as the fridge not getting cold I informed them and still nothing was done. The television was extremely blurry on every channel and there’s plenty of dust on the night stand and furniture. I called the front desk to ask them to speak with the room next to mine because of the loud noises they made all through the night and again nothing was done o was told they check out soon. I went to three different floors to get ice because my floor the ice machine did it work and neither did the 3 under my floor. I informed the front desk ask well they told me to try the floor they were on or call room service 😡. I tried the floor which was floor 2 for ice and neither did their ice machines work. Called room service just for ice. Overall this was not the best experience and I would not recommend this property for adults who want a true comfortable clean quiet environment. Not to mention the smell of weed coming from different rooms. There’s a no smoking sign posted.

I believe that this place would be better if they update the hotel. I was not satisfied with the room. Where the toilet is located is very narrow. If someone is heavy set they cannot go to the bathroom comfortable. My shower head was messed up, water wasn't coming out strong. I was there for a week and after like three days if my wife and i didn't call the front desk no one was refilling the refrigerator. The only thing i like about the place was the food and everyone was very polite but the hotel needs to be updated.

The hotel was decent the room was nice and housekeeping did a good job cleaning. The rooms do need to be updated and it's a funny smell in the hallways. They need more liquor options or put more liquor in the drinks doesn't seem that strong . Everyone was nice The food was good will . Will visit again

The stay at this resort was great! The staff was welcoming and super friendly. Also attentive and responsive to all their guests, from the front desk to the waiters/waitress and other staff. The resort was clean. I enjoyed the convince of both the pool and beach being so close to one another. I would recommend staying here and I would most definitely come again.

First let me start with the good. The staff was really nice and accommodating (except for today, I never received towels to shower #stillwaiting) Also there was a strange smell in my room. They sent someone up to clean the air conditioning unit but it didn’t help at all. All though the staff was nice, I don’t think I would stay here again.

It was a pretty decent stay with a large group. Good for family for sure. Pool vibes were good, loved the Saturday pool party. Too bad it was only one day. The entertainment crew was pretty good. Some of the staff were kind of rude, some were nice. I don’t know if it’s just Jamaica but from the getting to the Airport, you can feel the bad energy is some people. We didn’t really let it affect our stay. We had a good time, the kids had fun, the lazy river and slides were fun.

Everything was great except for shuttle service. The resort site states that it’s available for $20 round trip; however, it wasn’t available and I had to search myself for more expensive options.

I had an amazing stay at this property for the 2nd time. They offer a lot of fun activities , great food and the customer service is great! If I had to choose something would be for the rooms to be a tiny updated. Besides that it was a great and comfortable stay.

I assumed Jamaican culture was very friendly, it was about 50/50. The check in process took way too long and there were many employees behind the counter - after long day of travel did not appreciate standing in line for over 45 minutes with twins that are 2.5 years old. No where to sit close by as there was so many waiting. Only circulated drinks one time and offered nothing for kids. Hard way to start vacation. Also food at restaurant was not very good - would appreciated some more options and also something other than chicken nuggets, fries, pizza and noodles for the little kids. Appreciated the smaller resort and how close everything was but only 2 slides and a lazy river is what they call a water park.

We had reservations for a five day stay at the Hilton Rose resort because we had stayed there a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, an hour before our flight to Jamaica, American Airlines cancelled our flight and told us that the next available flight would be a full day later. Our stay at the Hilton this year was already a short stay and missing a day because of the flight cancellation made the trip so short that we decided to cancel our plans. We contacted Expedia, who we used to book the vacation, and they said that they would try to cancel our reservations. However, Expedia said that the Hilton Rose would NOT refund any of our reservation. This is very disappointing, both because of the loss of our money and because it is a very poor attitude for the Hilton brand in terms of customer service. I expected a Cancellation Fee, but refusing to refund any of our reservation is unacceptable. I am sure that the room reserved for us did not stay empty and was occupied by other guests, so there was little impact to the hotel from our cancellation. I would be open to receiving credit for a future stay instead of a cash refund, but we have not heard anything from the hotel.

Service was not great. The power went out in middle of night for 3 nights. Asked for not functioning fan and it could not be fixed. My wife slipped in one the restaurants as water was dripping from ceiling.

Absolute disappointment! As a Hilton resort we expected more. The Main pool was shut down three times due to POOP in the pool. I have never been to a resort where three of 8 days there was POOP found in the pool. The resort let customers know there was not much they could do for them, as it Happens!!!!! Multiple people called their travel agents to go moved from this resort. The Rooms were a complete nightmare, dated, uncomfortable, no fans in the bathroom a family of three was on top of each other in an ocean front room. The food was inedible at all restaurants but the buffet and Chinese. My husband could not cut through his steak at the Italian restaurant, he asked for a new knife or another steak and was told they were out of the steak for the night. All food was bland and needed modifications. Joyce at the main pool was amazing! We had bad service one day at the pool when Joyce was off. Two days later I was confronted by that server for not tipping her as much as we tipped Joyce. She hunted me down at a restaurant and was in my face. We would never recommend this resort to anyone. Do your self a favor and look at other hotels. The Hilton the Hiltons forgot about.

Rose Hall never disappoints! You do a great job of balancing kid friendly with adult friendly environment. I am thankful as a smoker you still let me indulge but understand the limitations. The staff is top notch and always makes us feel welcome. I believe this was our 11th visit to the property and we can't wait to come back!

Resort needs work it’s falling apart. Pool lights and wires just hanging out of the wall of the pool. Food was hit or miss, some nights went hungry. Out of 4 nights there were zero kid food options. We used Amstar transportation that was great. People were mostly nice. Gift shop was a rip off a magnet was $19 so we bought souvenirs at the airport at departure.
