My husband and I had an amazing stay at Jewel Grande. Our room was fantastic and was exactly as described. The direct ocean view and sitting on the balcony relaxing was the best. All of the staff at Jewel Grande were so friendly and accommodating. The food throughout the entire resort was good with many choices. I would definitely return and recommend Jewel Grande to family & friends.

The unit was great the resort was good only issue was the bands they gave us after we got the all inclusive the staff had to keep calling the front desk cause they that our pink bands were for a day pass it was kind Off embarrassing the other guests had blue bands that didn’t got there room from the hotel but the room was Great

Oceanfront Condo in luxury resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is well appointed and has everything that you would need and expect from a 5 star property. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the beach is lovely. We will be back and this will be our new home away from home whenever we visit Jamaica!

Really loved staying here. I kept expecting there to be a lot of added fees and ridiculous charges, but there were not! Just a lot of really friendly people who made our stay tremendous.

Enjoyed very much

Very spacious, comfortable bed. Refrigerator/stove/microwave a big plus, we bought groceries for lunch/breakfast and went out and about for dinner and ate two nights at the resort -you get a little paper that says you have a credit card on file and they charge it to your room and then you pay what you accumulated at checkout. Beach and pool very nice. We rented a car and were able to park right there and come and go as we please (the driving is a little intense though!) There is hot water it just took several minutes for it to heat up fyi. There was also a 70-80 dollar cleaning charge that maybe I missed in the description but don’t recall knowing about until at few days before checkin. Not major but I like to know all expenses up front. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Great stay but condo needs a little refreshing and maintenance

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. A few things could have been better. The unit appears to not have been occupied in awhile. It had a smell pretty much the entire time. Like mildew. But after being there a few days we realized it was likely the garbage disposal. I contacted the property manager and they came out to repair the disposal the same day. The next day the sink in the kitchen backed up and the sink in the primary bath didn’t flow well either. The front door was beat up compared to other units. The tub was missing the back stop. It simply needs some updating. and maintenance. Good parts were the air conditioning was perfect and it was HOT!!! The scenery was gorgeous and the view was supreme.

Such an amazing stay

The condo is such a good size for a couple or a family with small children. Having 2 full bathrooms was a game changer for a vacation. The condo was fully stocked with everything we could need and we would definitely return here anytime. The customer support has been amazing. They answered every question we had and provided us with information on any concerns that we had to try to make sure our vacation was everything that we needed it to be.

Beautiful Place on Beach in Jamaica

This Property is exactly as it looks in the pictures on VRBO. Everything you need for a week or two in Jamaica. This is part of the Jewel Grand Resort - so you can have the best of both worlds when it comes to food and drink. You have the option to buy the all-inclusive package or go to the grocery store and cook in the apartment...or even better - cook some meals and then use the resort restaurants and just pay as you go. The prices are very reasonable. Judith and Ray were extremely attentive hosts. Any issues were quickly resolved. We look forward to our next trip to this place.

Tropical Paradise

The property was a lovely setting, the most beautiful sunsets and view of the ocean. I loved starting and ending my day with the ocean views. The property was clean, quiet, and had all the necessary items to feel comfortable for a weeks vacation. The owners were kind, attentive, and available to assist with any needs such as grocery shopping & transportation- most helpful service. We loved it so much we booked again! Thank you!!

Best view and access to beach

We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary to enjoy time with each other. We were greeted very warmly which continued throughout our stay. Our servers made us feel special each time we went dining. The was a good selection of places to eat. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed the non-motorized water activities, the pools, watching volleyball and the spa. Mostly enjoyed sitting out on the oceanfront balcony seeing the sun rise and set and listening to the ocean waves.

Beautiful apartment with breathtaking view

Me and my husband booked this apartment for a week. We had such a great time. This apartment is in 4 star Jewels Grand resort and it has amazing restaurants with private beach. It looks exactly like in pictures. I would strongly recommend this place. I would love going back there next week. Judith is a very sweet and nice person. Our flight got canceled and they were able to accommodate for another night.

This unit was just as it is presented. Clean, well stocked with a beautiful view. Check in was smooth. I slept so comfortably in the bed. The shower had amazing pressure and temp. The television worked perfectly. I wish the bedroom had one. This particular building has less activity than than the others but its a short walk to entertainment and food. Its a stretch for those needing handicapped accessibility as you must take stairs to quickly access beach and restaurants. You can leave through front but its more walking distance that way with no vibe. If I come to Montego Bay again, I would definitely book this unit. I would take advantage of having groceries and drinks prestocked before my arrival. Grocery shopping took time away from the fun. I enjoyed the spa hot tub and salt room the most. There was nightly entertainment and there is some non-motorizedsports. I only saw people take advantage of one of the water activities the entire trip. Its not a party resort from what I experienced. Its relaxing and laid back. Margaritaville is close for the club scene. I found some of the popular activities such as Ricks Cafe, Dunns River Falls and Appleton Estates were a far distance away. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional.

Small hiccups but overall great stay

Clean room and property, friendly staff and convenient location. Extra bed was not set up, cable set up needed to be corrected and door in bedroom would not open. Annoyed I had to reach out to get them fix but good thing was they were resolved quickly.

This place needs some upgrading

Comments about Jewel Grande condo Cons: No tv in the bedroom. Bedroom Balcony door and one of the windows didn’t open They do offer dishes but the cabinets appear unkempt so it’s a bit concerning to use the Items. Ceiling fan needs balancing. There’s a new one in the closet that just needs to be installed. Needs painting to improve the cleanliness and reduce odors. The place smells muggy and “like an old person’s home”. No cleaning supplies were offered. This Place needs dish washing liquid, laundry detergent, etc. If I had been given cleaning supplies I would have cleaned this place myself. (It needed it badly) all the door surfaces and bathroom floors were visibly dirty. Bathroom sink also has a slow drain. You have to run the water slowly in order to avoid clogging the sink. There’s also significant amount of calcium buildup on the bathroom sink countertop. Shower needs to be steam cleaned and the mildew in the bathroom is excessive. Shower head needs some good cleaning to remove the calcium build-up as well. Not sure how this place would ever be clean enough to be considered a COVID approved facility. Needs up grading. The musky odors are likely from the furniture. We ended up using one set of towels to have a place to sit on the couch to watch tv. FYI. Replacement towels are $35/set The Jewel Grande: cons The food at the Jewel Grande was not very good either. The best meal was the breakfast buffet offered at the Orchids restaurant. The remaining meals were a bit tasteless and at times not worth eating. We aren’t big on alcohol so we noticed the food inconsistencies. Pros: Staff that assisted with this individual property were great. Provided assistance with transportation to and from the hotel. Answered questions immediately as well. The Jewel Grande staff: The guys with the catamaran rental were awesome. They made the experience so enjoyable. I had a decent time with the ladies at the Grande Spa. Of course it was resort prices for a couples massage and mani/pedi but overall a good time. The Jewel Grande staff in general were helpful and extremely friendly.

Amazing

First time traveling to Jamacia and it was AMAZING! The room was exactly how it is pictured, the views are breathtaking, everyone is SUPER friendly, and we could not have asked for a better trip! The driver who picked us up from the airport was so friendly and helpful. If you want to go anywhere call him, he will take you. The resort is amazing, and the food and drinks are amazing. We did not do the all-inclusive, but even without it, we did not spend much money on food. If you are not a big drinker the all-inclusive personally is not necessary. The owners a very responsive, answered all my questions and were very helpful with setting up the ride to and from the airport. I will be back :)
