"Nostalgic setting. The hotel is well located in Mt Victoria opposite a park. Our room was comfortable and cozy (stayed in June) with a great ensuite. We were disappointed to learn that the restaurant at the hotel was closed but the breakfast was available and good. We tried to use the Council BBQ in the park one day to cook lunch but discovered it was not functional. The hotel's BBQ seemed not to be operational too. Overall enjoyed our stay."

"It was nice and fantastic, had good time. Enjoyed 80s theme of the house, well maintained.A perfect rustic escape with a great location for sunrise and sunset views. The barbeque and wood fire were definite highlights, making the evenings warm and memorableThe house was really awesome and well maintained, with all the amenities. An additional fan or a portable cooler would have been great during the scorching summer, but overall everything was fantastic and there was nothing to complain about."

"Great place for an overnight. Room was clean and had everything you wanted from a motel.
Downside. We had an interconnected room and we could hear the tv from the neighbours even though they didn't have it on loud. Unfortunately they started watching tellie at 5 am and this made we woke up at that time :("

"Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. "
