"Gran experiencia y sorpresa…. Desde el lugar donde está el hotel, junto a un jardín con cerezos, y junto al museo… hasta el check out…. todo fue espectacular, la habitación es muy amplia y agradable, decorada con algunos detalles que sólo acentúan la impresionante vista que tienes desde el ventanal de tu habitación! Es realmente hermosa… Un bar en el 3er piso con terraza, muy agradable y personal que habla varios idiomas, algo que agradecí enormemente… Su Onsen, hermoso, muy bien...

"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port....

"What a special experience! This is a glimpse of history with modern amenities and thoughtful staff. We had a triple room, which worked well for us as the sliding screens separated two sleeping areas. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. "My daughter and I traveled to Japan for two weeks and stayed here in the middle of a 70K Shimanami Bike trip. I wish so much we'd booked an additional night. Of the seven hotels/ryokans we stayed during our trip, this was heads above all the others. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious and the ryokan was quite peaceful. The staff was wonderful- helpful and attentive. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Japan and visit this area again, I'll return to this lovely property."

"Small room with a great view over the water between Onomichi and the neighboring island. Easy walk from the train station. This is a new building with one of those room switches that turns off all power when you take your room key out of the slot. This power shutoff includes all climate control and the fridge. Fridge is an odd wall unit that will literally hold 3 bottles of beer, it is about 3 inches deep. Everything was clean and comfortable, good for the day we spent in Onomichi before...

"This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place....
