Loved this place

We loved everything about Capoverso! Our family really enjoyed the Monte San Savino games (only on certain evenings) and restaurants. Chiara made excellent recommendations. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool (us too!) and the home was spacious.

True Tuscany

We spent almost two weeks at Il Capisoverso and loved every minute of our visit. Chiara and Gianluca were the perfect hosts. This was a great home base for our tour around the country side. It was nice to come back to a inviting place that provided a place to unwind. We used the grill and ate in almost every evening meal. We started our day with coffee and then set out to explore. Having laundry facilities added to the overall experience of making this our home base. Thank you Chiara and Gianluca for making our trip truly memorable.

Wonderful and relaxing retreat

A friend and I stayed here for three nights. It was pure relaxation and exactly what we needed. We felt safe in the space and Chiara made us feel at home upon arrival. A perfect place from which to enjoy a local day of wine touring. I would recommend a car for ease of groceries and exploring neighboring towns but can also walk 30 min into Monte San Savino. Grazie Chiara!!

Just perfect

We enjoyed our stay enormously. The beauty of the landscape, the comforts of the accommodation, the warmth of our host all combined to make us want to stay longer, or next best, return. There are Pleasurable day trips in every direction, but the town itself offers a variety of dining options and lovely walks - or just enjoying the garden. Romeo the cat was the cherry on top of this splendid sundae.

Velholdt ejendom med god beliggenhed. I udkanten af byen men samtidig meget rolige omgivelser med blandt andet en flot have mv. Eneste lille anke er, at grillen skal deles med de øvrige enheder - kan forestille mig at det kan give udfordringer i nogle tilfælde. Bør være en grill pr. enhed efter min mening - men en lille ting i det overordnede billede. Generelt god kvalitet/beliggenhed i forhold til pris.

Idyllic, Memorable, Perfect.

Great, relaxing stay

We loved our stay here and wish it could have been longer. The property is so peaceful, and the unit itself is great. Well equipped kitchen, very nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and very clean. We also enjoyed walking around the property to see the gardens and sitting outside by the barbecue or on the patio by the unit. Monte San Savino is also very close by and is a nice, small town to walk around, plenty of restaurants, cafes, etc. Lastly, Chiara was so helpful thought our stay (and before, helping us plan). Great hospitality.

Perfection in the country

The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. If I was missing anything, all we had to do was ask. Our hosts Chiara & Gianluca were friendly, attentive and very helpful. When I needed an emergency dentist appointment she found one the same day! When we asked for restaurant recommendations, it was a wonderful meal. I would say that if you have a car and want to relax...this is a perfect place.

Lovely holiday in this property,

We just returned from 10 days in this beautiful property. Chiara and Gianluca were perfect hosts. Very friendly and happy to supply lots of useful information regarding restaurants etc. We were able to help ourselves to the fruit and vegetables they grow. We loved seeing the cats and dogs who often came to say hello. The swimming pool was lovely and very much welcome after a hot day sightseeing. The property is in a good position as Monte San Savino is very close and has a variety of restaurants and a big supermarket. We would definitely consider returning.

Der Gesamteindruck lässt sich nur schwer in Worte fassen, aber soviel sei gesagt: An dieser Unterkunft und allem Zugehörigen gibt es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Traumlage, perfekte Ausstattung und sehr freundliche und sympathische Eigentümer. Entspannung pur. Nicht zu vergessen, die unheimlich süßen Hunde und Katzen. Idealer Standort um die umliegende Toskana zu besichtigen. Daher ist die Rückkehr für nächstes Jahr schon fest eingeplant.

Hidden treasure

This is a great find if you are looking for a unique, peaceful country setting that is close to many of the attractions of Tuscany. The property is impeccably maintained, with aesthetically pleasing rustic decor and all the modern conveniences. The hosts are the nicest people you could meet. They went out of their way to recommend restaurants (take their advice!), show us how their olives were pressed for their delicious olive oil, and even promised to take in the laundry we had hanging out to dry in case it started to rain while we were gone! We look forward to returning again in the future! This was a a great place to stay; very homey, surrounded by well-tended gardens full of roses. Very obviously a labor of love on the part of the owners.

Wonderful experience!

This apartment was a dream come true, in the hills of Tuscany close to many Tuscan towns, yet far from the crowds. Gianluca and Chiara were great, very helpful with tips on everything from restaurants to how to get to Florence. Capoverso was lovely, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful agriturismo and wonderful people!

We absolutely loved staying at Il Capoverso! It is such a beautiful place in a lovely location (in wine country, a little over an hour from Florence and less than an hour to Siena). The apartment is spacious with a large living area and kitchen, multiple indoor dining areas as well as outdoor seating. Unfortunately, it was too cool for the pool, but the yard, garden and pool area were all lovely. There was a large grassy area for my son to run around, which was refreshing after being in cities and hilltop towns for much of the trip. Monte San Savino is a charming little town with restaurants, grocery, gelaterias etc. Chiara, Gianluca, and their very sweet daughter are such wonderful people, and we loved getting to know them and their adorable pets! They even called to make a dinner reservation for us one night, and prepared a wonderful dinner for us another night.

Beautiful and Welcoming

Our visit to Agriturismo Capo Verso went beyond meeting our expectations. Chiara and Gianluca made themselves available at all times to provide information about local attractions and offer suggestions for day travel. They also made their plentiful garden available to us where we picked tomatoes, strawberries and peppers, just to name a few. The apartment is comfortable and nicely decorated with wonderful vistas of the local hillsides. The en-suite bedrooms created perfect privacy for two couples. The farm is conveniently located close to the A1 autosrada and within easy driving distance to many hill towns. Gianlucca arranged for a tour of their local winery where we returned many times to purchase the delicious wines. Monte San Savino itself is relatively undiscovered with few tourists in the early fall. We went to many of the local restaurants and were delighted not only with the delicious local foods, but the willingness of the proprietors and service staff to help us with the language in making menu choices. Adding an extra sparkle to our holiday was Chiara and Gianluca's family, their beautiful daughter, Julia, Chiara's father, and their furry family, most notably their gentle dog, Camilla, and Tigro, the friendly cat. I would highly recommended renting this property as the foundation for a Tuscan adventure.
