Wear flat shoes to the lighthouse, otherwise they will not let you climb to the top.

Enjoyed the view, a drink and relaxing in some wicker rocking chairs at the George cafe overlooking both lighthouse and the ocean.

Expensive entrance fee and parking is $8. Use your NYS parking pass if you have one. Parking fee also covers the parking fee at Camp Hero if you are up for a walk on the beach or a partially shaded walk through a trail. Beware of ticks.
