Brian. Sorry you had noisy guests next to you. We have security staff who could have addressed the situation had they been notified. That being said we are genuinely sorry you had an experience that is not typical of an MBH stay.

Glad you found it was very good but sorry you had noisy neighbors. It always a challenge to completely sound proof an iconic historical beach hotel. Sorry that the neighbor seems to have forgotten that they need to be respectful of others. We hope to welcome you back for what we hope will be a quieter stay in the future.

Jennifer, I wish you would have approached us with your concerns while you were staying at the hotel. I did personally respond to your in-house feedback and asked how I could make your stay better and never heard back from you. As multiple reviews can attest to, our front desk agents are very attentive and accommodating, and we don't get complaints of them being rude, unhelpful, or absent. However, we are always upset when we can't meet guests' expectations and we hope in the future we can welcome you back and provide a better experience.

Apologies for the sound level of the music and we will work towards doing a better job at letting the various artists who perform at the hotel to be a little more conscious of the sound level. For many it’s the first time playing since the pandemic started and we suspect some get so excited to be out again that they get overly loud. As far as the rooms it’s been a challenge in restoring & updating a historic beach community property to be able to filter out all outside noise. Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the service, staff and our outside area. With regard to the room we guess sometimes quality, style & design is a very subjective thing and perhaps our choices were not to this guest’s taste. Our furnishing are all mostly higher end pieces by such quality manufacturers like Restoration Hardware & others. Our linens during this guest’s stay were all 800 thread count Egyptian cotton. Again we’re happy this guest otherwise enjoyed h their stay.
