Beautiful house, great for group visit for Montauk. Pool and hot tub were great, living rooms are great for your family or group, and excellent location central or 5 minutes to just about everything. Good to know that checkin process is more involved than described on listing; allow 25 minutes for an orientation by the owner either in person or over the phone. Checkout instructions were more involved than anticipated, whereas we expected standard tasks to be included in the cleaning fee. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

Our week could not have been better, we loved this house and Montauk! It was such a relaxing week! The house had everything to make the stay with our 16 month old grandson so easy! Our older kids loved the pool and hot tub and easy walk to town each morning for coffee! Carter was an excellent host, very responsive and so nice! Absolutely Wonderful!!!!!!!

10/10 Stay in Hither Hills

Home suited us perfectly for a 10-day vacation with family and friends. The back yard is absolutely fantastic and was perfect for summer grill-outs and pool days. The neighborhood is very quiet and location was spot-on just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Can’t say enough good things about Carter’s home - even better than the pictures!!

Beautiful private retreat in Montauk

This is a very special house located in the beautiful Hither Hills. Our family of 5 (college age and young adult) plus a couple friends enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere this house provided. The pool and outdoor areas (porches, hot tub, out door dining) are very spacious and provide for multiple areas for activity. The 2 separate living rooms allowed my 24 yr old to work remote while the rest of us continued on with our day. There is a rustic lived in quality that you find at any well loved beach house. Carter, the owner was very responsive and accommodating during our entire stay. We would absolutely stay here again

Great Family Getaway

Nothing negative to say. The owner came to greet us on our arrival, and showed us around the property. The house and grounds are family friendly with safety features for toddlers. Plenty of room for a large group. Parking for one car at the beach, and a short walk if all cannot fit in the car. The two outdoor showers are great when returning from the beach.

Charming house / beautiful property!

Thanks Carter! We had a wonderful family vacation and felt at home the minute we walked in the door. The pool and yard are as beautiful as the photos and the kids were prunes by the end of our stay. Oh, and the beach is also stunning. Cheers!

Amazing house

I came here with 10 other girlfriends to celebrate my bachelorette and truly enjoyed my time. Carter is an amazing host and was helpful with anything we needed. Additionally, the house is in a quiet enough neighborhood that it's relaxing but close enough to town center and the beach if you want to go out. Montauk has a special place in my heart and I'm so glad I got to rent this house and share this place with my friends. I highly recommend booking this house.

Fantastic Montauk Getaway

Everything about our stay was 5 star. The host and his wife greeted us, made us immediately comfortable, and were available when we had questions. The house was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities one needs to be comfortable, and the pool, jacuzzi and grounds were spectacular. Proximity to the beach and Montauk town were great, and we lacked for nothing. We definitely plan a return trip! Martha and Peter

Lovely home

We unfortunately had bad weather during our stay but we were cozy in this home which is spacious and conveniently located. For those with kids, there are safety gates and toys available. There’s a lot of outdoor seating and in the summer we look forward to returning to take advantage of the pool. Carter is very responsive - a terrific host!

Wonderful Family Stay in Montauk

We had an incredible long weekend stay in November. The house is extremely comfortable for 2 families. There are two living rooms (one on each floor) to hang out in as well as a cozy pool house space. The 10 person dining room table made our meals together relaxing and enjoyable. Kitchen is fully stocked with enough cups, plates, pots and pans to cook for a big family. The property is spacious, beautiful and completely fenced in. The beach is within walking distance from the house and we enjoyed our strolls there every day. We really enjoyed our time at this Montauk escape and will definitely come back in the future.

Really lovely stay!

Stayed here with a small group over labor day weekend. Communication prior to the stay was great. Check-in day of / walk-through was easy to schedule. The home itself was comfortable. Such a lovely and peaceful location. The pool is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.
