It is out-of-the-way with a spectacular view of the mountains that I actually loved sitting on the balcony looking at. and Steve, the gentleman who checked me in was amazing. He took the time to explain to me the history of the end, which I found absolutely amazing… I will definitely stay there again!"

"We enjoyed a very restful visit. Friendly staff, our room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers. This is definitely our go to place when we visit beautiful Blowing Rock. "

"Staying in a bunkhouse at Highlander was wonderful — free parking on the street just behind, clean room, cute welcome note and unique, welcome vibe overall. Checking in was a little troublesome with no one answering the phone and no parking/unloading details on their website, but once I got to my room, I was delighted. It was just very cute and right in the heart of the main drag in Highlands with so much walkable. The patio out front with free coffee and banana bread in the morning was absolute...
